HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Utah

The SEER Group has acquired S&S Mechanical, a long-established HVAC and plumbing provider based in St. George, Utah, marking SEER's first expansion into Utah. The acquisition brings S&S into SEER’s network of residential and commercial home‑services brands while preserving the company's local leadership and operations.

Guild Garage Group has completed a strategic partnership to add A Plus Garage Doors, a portfolio company of Asilia Partners, to its alliance of residential garage door service brands. Under the agreement Asilia principals will join Guild's advisory board to support the platform's buy-and-build strategy; A Plus brings more than 140 employees and ~80 service trucks and will retain its management team while partnering with Guild.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety (Rapid Fire Protection Group) has acquired Paradise Fire Protection, a Logan, Utah-based provider of fire alarm, sprinkler and extinguisher installation, inspection, testing and maintenance. The acquisition strengthens Pye-Barker's presence in Utah and increases market density in the suburban communities north of Salt Lake City; Paradise Fire owner John Blankman and his team will remain with the business.

American Residential Services (ARS/Rescue Rooter) has acquired ESCO Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electric of Salt Lake City, Utah. The acquisition expands ARS's residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical footprint in the Western U.S. and brings ESCO's local team and capabilities into ARS's national network.

Pueblo Mechanical & Controls, a Huron Capital platform, has acquired Rocky Mountain Mechanical, a South Salt Lake, Utah-based HVAC, plumbing and controls contractor. The add-on expands Pueblo's geographic footprint into the Rocky Mountain region; former owner Chad Heward will continue to lead as president of the Rocky Mountain division.

Friendly Group, a home services platform, has acquired Western Heating & Air, an HVAC company with branches in Orem and Lehi, Utah. The deal expands Friendly Group's footprint in Northern Utah; Western will continue to operate under its brand with owner Ryan Snow remaining at the helm, and Friendly Group's board includes representatives from Alchemy Capital Partners and RFE Investment Partners.

Knox Lane, a San Francisco-based growth investment firm, made a strategic growth investment in Any Hour Services to form the Any Hour Group. The capital and operational support will be used to scale the company's HVAC, plumbing and electrical services across the Mountain West through organic growth and strategic acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.
