HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Wisconsin

Redwood Services has partnered with Cardinal Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electric, marking Redwood’s 18th platform investment. The Ouimette family (founders/owners) will retain a significant minority stake while Cardinal’s team continues to operate under its existing brand as Redwood provides operational and financial support to accelerate growth in the Madison, Wisconsin market.

Sila Services has acquired New Berlin Heating & Air Conditioning, a family-run HVAC services provider based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, to accelerate the platform’s Midwest expansion. The deal brings New Berlin’s technical team and local customer base into Sila’s multi-brand home services platform to enhance service capabilities and regional coverage.

PremiStar has acquired Conditioned Air Design, a commercial HVAC contractor based in West Allis, Wisconsin, expanding PremiStar's footprint in Southeastern Wisconsin. The deal strengthens PremiStar's service capacity for education, healthcare, commercial/industrial, and data center customers and provides career opportunities for Conditioned Air Design's employees.

Heartland Home Services, a Grand Rapids-based provider of HVAC, plumbing and electrical home services, has acquired Pat's Heating and Air Conditioning, a family-owned HVAC provider serving the greater Milwaukee area. Owners Pat and Mary Sue will remain with the business and transaction terms were not disclosed; the deal expands Heartland's footprint in the Midwest.

Reedy Industries, a Deerfield, Illinois–based commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and building controls platform, has acquired Vorpagel Service, Inc., a Burlington, Wisconsin commercial HVAC contractor. The acquisition expands Reedy's mechanical service offerings and increases service density in Wisconsin, while Vorpagel's team and customers will continue under Reedy's broader resources and best practices.

Burton Plumbing Services, a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired Holland Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. and Mr. Holland's Electric, Inc. (collectively “Mr. Holland's”), a provider of residential HVAC, electrical, and duct cleaning services in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin metro area. The add-on expands Burton's geographic reach into southeastern Wisconsin and adds scale to its field technician workforce and service vehicle fleet.

Reedy Industries’ Building Automation Solutions (BAS) division has acquired Control Works, Inc., a Madison, Wisconsin-based building automation and controls services provider. The deal expands BAS’s footprint into the Madison metro area and strengthens Reedy’s building automation capabilities; Control Works’ owners Mike McCracken and Marquis Harding will remain with the business as part of BAS.
