Industrial Services Acquisitions in Idaho

Impel Company, a Pike Street Capital portfolio platform, has made a strategic investment in Riverside Inc., a family-owned Parma, Idaho provider of electric motor repair, pump services, well-drilling and millwright field services. The transaction is an add-on to the Impel platform intended to expand capabilities and strengthen Impel's presence across Idaho and the western U.S.

Aldinger Company, a Dallas-based calibration services provider and portfolio company of Incline Equity Partners, acquired Instrument Technologies, Inc., an A2LA-accredited instrument calibration provider with a primary lab in Boise, Idaho and four mobile labs in the Seattle area. The transaction, advised by Generational Equity, closed on November 30, 2023 as an add-on to Aldinger to expand its geographic footprint and calibration capabilities.

BlackHawk Industrial, a Tulsa-based distributor of metalworking and industrial products, has acquired Advanced Industrial Supply of Pocatello, Idaho. The deal (terms undisclosed) is part of BlackHawk's aggressive acquisition strategy to expand its geographic footprint, broaden product assortment, and strengthen service capabilities in the Idaho and northern Utah markets.

C.G. Machinery, LLC acquired King Machine, Inc., a machine tool and machining robotics distributor based in Meridian, Idaho. The transaction, which closed on September 20, 2022, was advised by Generational Equity and expands C.G. Machinery's distribution and service footprint in Idaho and Montana, including King’s Eclipse Tool & Supply division.

SBP Holdings acquired Watts Steam Store and subsidiaries effective December 1, 2021; the business will operate inside SBP's Dakota Fluid Power fluid power & automation platform. Watts Steam Store (founded by Tracy and Stanley Watts) operates three locations in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Ogden, Utah and has approximately 35 employees; the deal expands SBP's North American footprint and fluid power capabilities.

Exyte Group, a global designer and builder of high-tech facilities, has acquired Critical Process Systems Group (CPS) from Wynnchurch Capital. Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, CPS provides mission-critical process equipment and engineering services to semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, life sciences and wastewater markets and will join Exyte’s services and process equipment portfolio, bringing more than 400 employees into the company.

Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL) has acquired a majority interest in House of Design, a Nampa, Idaho-based provider of robotic automation systems and software for the residential construction and building components market. The investment will provide capital and operational resources to accelerate product innovation, scale production and expand the company's automation capabilities while House of Design's co-founders retain minority positions.

Hawk Ridge Systems has acquired Quest Integration, a DS SOLIDWORKS reseller headquartered in Post Falls, Idaho. The transaction expands Hawk Ridge's North American reseller and 3D printing footprint — creating a combined network of 22 offices and broadening capabilities in 3D design, data management, simulation and manufacturing solutions for customers across the U.S. West and Canada.

Fairmont Supply Company has acquired THB, Inc., a distributor of industrial fasteners with locations in Salt Lake City, Utah and Boise, Idaho. THB's local management will remain in place and the acquisition expands Fairmont's fastener offering and Western regional footprint, enabling broader MRO and value‑added kitting and packaging services for customers.
