IT Services Acquisitions in Kentucky

Bluewave Technology Group has acquired Single Point Communications Group (SinglePoint), a Louisville-based IT consulting and advisory agency, expanding Bluewave's footprint in Kentucky and strengthening capabilities in cloud, DRaaS and data center solutions. The deal, executed as part of Bluewave's growth plan with investor Columbia Capital, brings additional scale (Bluewave now has ~140 employees) and keeps prior sponsor Soterra Capital engaged to help grow the Bluewave ecosystem.

Bluewave Technology Group has acquired Virtual Telecomm, a Louisville-based telecom and IT infrastructure advisory agency. The founders of Virtual Telecomm — Mark White, Michael White, and Jason Hulsewede — will join Bluewave as equity partners and Ambassadors to support client success and Bluewave's continued growth.

Eir Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm, completed a majority recapitalization of Helpware, a Lexington, Kentucky-headquartered provider of digital customer experience, content control/verification and AI services. The recapitalization will support Helpware’s product investment and organic and inorganic growth as the company scales its global delivery model across fintech, e-commerce/retail, consumer services and healthcare verticals.

Boston-based private equity firm Cohere Capital has made a strategic growth investment in Promevo, a Burlington, Kentucky-based provider of Google Workspace, Chrome, and Google Cloud Platform services and software (including its gPanel management product). The capital will support Promevo’s expansion of service offerings and further development of software and solutions for customers operating on the Google technology ecosystem.

Soterra Capital-backed SinglePoint Solutions has acquired EngagedPro and combined the businesses under SinglePoint Communications Group to expand its IT and telecom solutions offering. The acquisition is intended to accelerate market entry, broaden service capabilities, and scale strategic engagements for both companies' customers.

Data Strategy has acquired boice.net and finalized a merger to create one of the Midwest's largest datacenter consulting organizations. The combined company will operate from six offices across four states (headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan), expand managed services (including a 24x7x365 NOC), and broaden capabilities across cloud, security, storage and infrastructure with roughly 200 employees and sharpened vertical focus across government, education, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.
