Retail Acquisitions in South Carolina

Graycliff Partners LP completed a subordinated debt investment and minority equity investment in Palmetto Moon, LLC, a Charleston-based specialty retailer operating 51 stores across the Southeastern United States. Proceeds will fund a distribution to shareholders and general corporate purposes; Palmetto Moon remains a portfolio company of Topspin Consumer Partners.

GALLS, the national distributor of uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals, has acquired DesignLab, Inc., a regional supplier of public safety uniforms and gear. The acquisition adds six retail locations across South Carolina and Florida, strengthening GALLS' footprint in the Southeast and consolidating market share in those states.

Azalea Capital, a Greenville, South Carolina-based private investment firm, has made a growth investment in Landscapers Supply Inc., a multi-location landscaping supplies and retail business headquartered in Greenville, SC; founder Mark Ells remains an owner. The capital will support the company’s continued expansion across South Carolina and into Western North Carolina and Northern Georgia, including opening a sixth location in Seneca, SC and staffing growth to support new product offerings and services.

GALLS, a leading supplier to public safety professionals, has acquired U.S. Patriot Tactical, a large multi-channel military and tactical gear retailer. The deal combines GALLS' nationwide distribution and e-commerce capabilities with U.S. Patriot Tactical's on-base and off-base retail footprint (63 stores) and ~270 employees, expanding GALLS' presence in the U.S. military individual market.

Camping World Holdings, Inc. acquired the Boat-N-RV Superstore located at 401 Sycamore Dr in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The location will be rebranded to Gander RV and Outdoors and will carry new and used RVs plus Overton's watersports, marine and outdoor products, expanding Camping World's retail footprint in South Carolina.
