Andela has acquired Woven, a technical-assessment company that provides real-world engineering scenarios, structured scoring rubrics, and AI-enabled evaluation. The acquisition will accelerate Andela's assessments roadmap and improve its ability to identify and match AI-native engineering talent across its global marketplace.

Bonterra, a social good software company based in Austin, Texas, has acquired OneCause, a digital fundraising solutions provider for nonprofits. The deal expands Bonterra's fundraising and events capabilities—adding OneCause's event/auction, ticketing and mobile-bidding solutions and bringing thousands of nonprofits and millions of donors into the Bonterra Network.

Valsoft Corporation has acquired WSI Technologies, a long-standing provider of secure video recording and evidence management solutions for public safety and child advocacy agencies. WSI will operate autonomously under Valsoft's Fluent operating group, with Jim Hansen appointed President and CEO as Valsoft invests to accelerate product and market expansion in the public safety technology sector.

Clinisys has acquired Orchard Software from Francisco Partners, combining two leaders in laboratory informatics to expand Clinisys's LIS and LIMS capabilities. The deal brings Orchard's physician office, reference, and veterinary laboratory solutions into Clinisys's global cloud-based platform to broaden product capabilities and end-market coverage.

BS&A Software has acquired Boyce Systems and its Keystone municipal ERP software, strengthening BS&A's presence in Indiana and the broader Midwest. Boyce's customers will be migrated to BS&A's cloud-native ERP platform while Boyce leadership and a new Schools Division will continue to support Indiana municipalities and schools.

Confience, a recently formed laboratory informatics platform backed by Symphony Technology Group (STG), has acquired Computing Solutions, Inc., the provider of the LabSoft LIMS product. The add-on strengthens Confience’s LIMS capabilities and expands its presence in chemical and food & beverage laboratory markets, with continued financial support from STG.

Daxtra, the UK-based provider of AI-enriched recruitment software, has acquired PivotCX, an Indianapolis-based talent acquisition communications hub. The acquisition (closed April 24, 2024) will fold PivotCX’s communications capabilities into the Daxtra product suite to improve candidate engagement and conversion; terms were not disclosed.

Everon (formerly ADT Commercial) has acquired DIGIOP, a software development company specializing in video and business intelligence solutions. DIGIOP's subscription-based video + data platform and its CEO Mike Compton (who will join Everon as CTO) will help Everon expand its intelligence-driven, cloud-connected SaaS offerings for commercial security and operations.

Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm, has made a growth investment in Arborgold, a field service management and scheduling software provider for lawn, landscape and tree care companies. Vista Point Advisors served as Arborgold's exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.

Houston-based private equity firm Pelican Energy Partners has made an investment in Blue Wave AI Labs, a West Lafayette, Indiana–based SaaS company that provides AI-driven software for the nuclear energy industry. The capital and partnership aim to help Blue Wave expand its customer base, geographic presence, and product offerings to accelerate revenue and profitability.

Lometa Capital Partners' Lometa Capital Fund LP made a growth investment in Upper Hand, Inc., a subscription-based sports management software company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The minority/growth capital will be used to support Upper Hand's go-to-market expansion and product growth initiatives to accelerate growth across sports training facilities and franchisors.

ChildcareCRM acquired MomentPath and rebranded the combined business as LineLeader, launching a unified Childcare Experience Platform that combines CRM, a family engagement app, and childcare management software. The acquisition integrates MomentPath’s family engagement and CMS capabilities into ChildcareCRM’s platform to provide a single, end-to-end solution for childcare centers.

DentalXChange, a dental payments and data connectivity provider headquartered in Irvine, California, has acquired long-time partner ExtraDent (Computer Aided Technologies dba ExtraDent). The acquisition adds ExtraDent’s ClaimX and Virtual Assistants revenue-cycle management capabilities to DentalXChange’s product portfolio, broadening its RCM and front-office automation offerings for dental practices.

Core BTS, an Indianapolis-based IT consulting and managed services provider, has acquired Aptera Software, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based software development firm specializing in the Microsoft stack. The deal enhances Core BTS's application development and modernization capabilities—particularly on Microsoft Azure—and expands its ability to deliver cloud transformation services to clients.

MVB Bank, a subsidiary of MVB Financial Corp., has acquired a majority interest in Trabian Technology, a software development firm that builds digital products and applications for community banks, credit unions, digital banks and fintechs. Envisage Technologies, a Bloomington, Indiana-based provider of training and compliance software for public safety agencies, has acquired Guardian Tracking, an Indianapolis-based provider of early intervention and employee performance management software for law enforcement. The acquisition expands Envisage's Acadis Readiness Suite by adding Guardian Tracking’s early intervention, use-of-force, and positive recognition capabilities to accelerate its agency management roadmap.

Recruit Rooster, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DirectEmployers Association, has acquired Indiana-based custom software developer RocketBuild. The acquisition expands Recruit Rooster’s development capabilities and broadens the technology and service offerings available to its recruitment marketing clients.

SalesLoft, the Atlanta-based sales engagement platform provider, acquired Costello, a provider of opportunity management software that helps sales teams update deals, use guided-selling playbooks, and sync in real time with CRMs. The deal extends SalesLoft’s platform from prospecting into deal management and pipeline collaboration, integrating Costello’s capabilities natively into SalesLoft.

Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm, announced it will acquire Orchard Software Corporation, a developer of laboratory information systems (LIS) used by clinical, pathology and outreach laboratories. The deal will provide Orchard with capital and operational support to accelerate product innovation, expand capabilities (including point-of-care testing integrations), and support leadership transition.

New Mountain Capital has agreed to purchase a majority stake in Ontario Systems from Arlington Capital Partners. The transaction gives New Mountain control of the Muncie, Indiana-based enterprise software provider to support continued organic and inorganic growth across healthcare, government, and accounts receivable management markets.

Vitu acquired Indiana-based Title Pro Technology, LLC on May 15, 2019, combining Title Pro’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) expertise and staff with Vitu’s Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) platform. The deal brings Title Pro’s customer contracts and local Indiana team into Vitu, enabling a full rollout of Vitu’s Indiana eFile solution to streamline title and registration services for auto dealers.
