ARCHIMED, via a fund-managed affiliate, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Esperion Therapeutics for $3.16 per share in cash, valuing the transaction at up to approximately $1.1 billion including commercial milestone payments. Esperion shareholders will also receive a contingent value right (CVR) for up to $100 million in additional milestones tied to future U.S. net sales of bempedoic acid- and bumetanide-containing products.
