Great American Holdings (GA Group) acquired the California- and Washington-based family law litigation support practice of The Kaseno CPA Firm. The deal adds a four-person team led by founder Karen J. Kaseno and expands GA Group’s family law litigation support capabilities to serve attorneys, courts, and clients in complex matters.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is reported to be receiving a $275 million equity investment from existing shareholders Oaktree Capital Management (55% stake), Mohari Hospitality (30% stake), and Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC (15% stake). The transaction also includes $470 million in loan repayment deferments, including with France’s Crédit Agricole and Spain’s CaixaBank-led lenders.
Spectrum Brands Holdings entered into a definitive agreement for a $127 million investment from Oaktree Capital Management in its Home and Personal Care (HPC) business. The deal includes $67 million of convertible preferred equity and a $60 million lien term loan recourse only to the HPC segment, with Oaktree receiving about a 27% stake upon closing.

Oaktree has signed a master transaction agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company (ACL), which is part of the Advantage Capital Holdings (A-CAP) platform. In parallel, Oaktree will provide capital support to Sentinel Security Life Insurance Company through a surplus note investment funded into a newly created captive insurance company, with proceeds directed toward strengthening Sentinel’s growth and policyholder support.

Superior Industries International has entered into definitive agreements to be acquired by a group of its existing term loan investors, including Oaktree Capital Management. The investors will convert up to approximately $550 million of term loan claims into equity, reducing funded debt by nearly 90%, and the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025 pending approvals.
