Agriculture Acquisitions in Oregon

Twin River Berries has acquired Oregon Berry Packing, Inc., a Pacific Northwest grower-packer of fresh and frozen berries. As part of the deal Ben Escoe (President & CEO of Twin River) will also lead Oregon Berry, with Zane Coleman named COO and Jeff and Brian Malensky retaining category leadership; the acquisition expands Twin River's vertically integrated berry platform to better serve major retailers and distributors across North America and Asia.

Atlas Vineyard Management, a portfolio company of Juggernaut Capital Partners, has acquired Results Partners, an outsourced vineyard management and development services provider previously owned by Clearview Capital (via Wilson OVS Holding Company). The transaction closed May 30, 2025 and creates a larger national vineyard-management platform with expanded coverage across the Pacific Northwest and other U.S. wine regions.

Baden Capital, a San Francisco-based private investment firm focused on food & agriculture and specialty manufacturing, has acquired ORCAL, Inc., a Junction City, Oregon-based provider of crop protection products and agricultural inputs. ORCAL will continue to operate from its Junction City headquarters; the deal expands Baden Capital's presence and capabilities in agricultural solutions and specialty manufacturing.

GrowLife, Inc. (OTCQB: PHOT) completed the acquisition of certain assets of Bridgetown Mushrooms on January 6, 2023, bringing the Portland-area mushroom producer under GrowLife’s ownership. The deal positions GrowLife to expand nationally into gourmet and functional mushroom products and mycology supplies while Bridgetown’s leadership will remain in place to support planned growth and operational scale-up.

Mount Adams Fruit has acquired the pear operations of Stadelman Fruit Company, including orchard, packing, and storage assets in Oregon's Hood River Valley. The acquisition expands Mount Adams Fruit's pear footprint, improves harvest management and operational efficiencies, and brings the assets closer to growers.

Halo Collective Inc. completed the acquisition of substantial assets of three Pistil Point operating entities (Decatur One LLC, Bradford Two LLC and Bradford Three LLC) through its subsidiary ANM Inc., securing indoor and outdoor cultivation, manufacturing and distribution capabilities in Portland, Oregon. The deal was paid principally in Halo common shares (US$4.0 million consideration issued as 47,224 shares) and strengthens Halo's vertically integrated operations and distribution reach across Oregon.

Grown Rogue International Inc. completed the acquisition of a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq ft indoor cultivation facility in Medford, Oregon from HSCP, LLC (a subsidiary of Acreage Holdings Inc.) on April 14, 2022 for total consideration of $2.0 million. The asset is currently producing approximately 800 lbs/month and expands Grown Rogue's total indoor capacity to 127,000 sq ft, supporting the company’s production and margin targets.

Orchard & Vineyard Supply (OVS), a portfolio company of Clearview Capital Fund III, acquired Clearwater Irrigation Supply, a Salem, Oregon-based agricultural irrigation solutions provider, in early March 2022. Clearwater founder Andrey Kaya will continue to lead the business as it is integrated into OVS to expand the platform's irrigation and water-management capabilities across the Pacific Northwest.

Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. completed the acquisition of Aurora Innovations, Aurora International and Gotham Properties LLC, an Eugene, Oregon-based manufacturer and supplier of organic hydroponic nutrients and grow media. The deal expands Hydrofarm's portfolio of nutrient and growing-media brands and complements its recent purchases of HEAVY 16, House & Garden, and Mad Farmer.

Orchard & Vineyard Supply (OVS), a portfolio company of Clearview Capital Fund III, has acquired Cascade Water Systems Corp., with the related Ridgway Supply Company included in the transaction; the deal closed July 3, 2020. Paul Ridgway, Cascade's founder, retains an ownership stake and joins OVS as Senior Director of Pump Systems Design & Sales, strengthening OVS's irrigation and pumping capabilities across the Pacific Northwest.
