IBM has acquired Manta Software Inc., a Prague-based data lineage platform, to strengthen its data and AI governance capabilities across watsonx.ai, watsonx.data and watsonx.governance. Financial terms were not disclosed; Manta’s technology will provide deeper data lineage and provenance visibility to improve model explainability and regulatory compliance.
