M/C Partners, with participation from Author Capital Partners, led an investment to combine Chicago-based ISPs Everywhere Wireless and SilverIP under the new Zentro brand. The merged company becomes the largest MDU-focused ISP in the Midwest, serving more than 65,000 residential and business subscribers across Chicago and Milwaukee and positioning the business for further geographic expansion and roll-up activity.

M/C Partners Acquires Bel Air Internet to Expand AerioConnect Platform in Southern California

M/C Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, has acquired Bel Air Internet, LLC (BAI) and will combine it with AerioConnect and Metro Fiber to form a larger regional ISP serving the greater Los Angeles market. Bel Air Internet provides internet, voice and video services to over 800 multi-family and commercial buildings in Los Angeles; the deal is an add-on to expand the AerioConnect platform and accelerate MDU broadband growth in Southern California.

Zentro Acquires Snip Internet

Zentro, a Midwest MDU-focused ISP, acquired Ohio-based Snip Internet to expand its multi-dwelling-unit footprint across the region. Backed by private equity firm M/C Partners, the combined business now serves roughly 1,200 buildings and 61,000 subscribers across multiple metro markets; Houlihan Lokey advised Snip on the transaction.

M/C Partners Acquires AerioConnect to Establish Residential and Commercial Broadband Platform

BAI Communications Acquires ZenFi Networks

BAI Communications has agreed to acquire ZenFi Networks, an East Coast US provider of small cell deployment, fiber connectivity, network edge colocation and related digital infrastructure services. The deal expands BAI's North American footprint and capability across the New York–New Jersey metro region (including LinkNYC rights and ~1,100 route miles of fiber) and is positioned to accelerate the company's 5G infrastructure growth in the United States.

AerioConnect Acquires Metro Fiber

The acquisition, which closed after M/C Partners' September 30, 2020 investment in Aerio, expands Aerio's customer base and depth in the greater Los Angeles broadband market.
