Dental Acquisitions in Colorado

Lone Peak Dental Group, a Denver-based pediatric specialty dental support organization operating 69 clinics across 13 states, received a strategic growth investment from the BlackRock Impact Opportunities Fund, with Memorial Hermann Health System investing alongside. Brightwood Capital and LBC Credit Partners provided financing to support the transaction; the funding will be used to scale Lone Peak's clinic platform and expand access to pediatric dental care in underserved, Medicaid-serving communities.

Espire Dental, an integrated dental organization headquartered in Denver, acquired Anderson Family Dental in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The deal expands Espire's footprint in southern Colorado and continues its roll-up of high-quality, dentist-founded practices; Dr. Erick Anderson will join Espire as part of the transaction.

Espire Dental has acquired Fox Creek Family Dental, a five-location group with practices in Longmont, Loveland, Thornton, Westminster and Broomfield, Colorado. The deal adds five locations to Espire's growing multi-specialty dental platform and was completed with owner Dr. Ryan Koenig partnering with Espire to continue serving local communities.

Warner Pacific, a Westlake Village-based employee benefits general agency, has acquired Beta Health Association's commercial dental health platform to expand its ancillary product offerings and deepen partnerships with national carriers. The deal strengthens Warner Pacific's presence in the West and enables brokers to pair Beta Health's dental savings plan with dental plans from national carriers; terms were not disclosed.

Varsity Healthcare Partners completed a growth investment in Peak Dental Services, a Colorado Springs-based dental services organization with 35 locations and over 65 dentists. The partnership will support Peak's aggressive growth strategy of de novo clinic openings and acquisitions across Colorado and into adjacent markets while management and provider-owners remain significant shareholders.

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has agreed to sell ClearChoice Management Services, the operator of the ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers network, to Aspen Dental Management (ADMI). ClearChoice operates a national network of more than 60 implant centers; terms were not disclosed and the deal is a strategic acquisition to expand Aspen's specialty dental capabilities and patient reach.
