Veltris, a digital product engineering services provider backed by Trive Capital and BayLink Capital, has acquired BPK Technologies to expand its digital engineering, data and AI capabilities and deepen vertical healthcare expertise. The acquisition enhances Veltris’ offerings for Dental Service Organizations, health systems and other healthcare-adjacent markets while scaling BPK’s services across Veltris’ platform.

New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of Oval Partners, has added Element Technologies to its MSP platform. The transaction expands New Charter's national IT services footprint and brings Element's cybersecurity, automation & AI, and document management expertise — with a strong focus on the legal sector — into the platform.

Service Express, a data center and infrastructure solutions provider, has acquired Top Gun Technology, a Greater Minneapolis-based data center maintenance and mission-critical support services provider. The acquisition expands Service Express' multivendor maintenance and managed infrastructure capabilities—particularly in mainframe and complex enterprise storage support—and integrates Top Gun's specialized workforce and ITAD capabilities into Service Express' global service portfolio.

Trafera, a Rotunda Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Now Micro to expand its education and commercial technology offerings. The deal brings Now Micro’s expertise in IT solutions, physical security, and digital screen media into Trafera’s platform to broaden services and geographic reach for K-12 and other end markets.

Dubin Clark & Company formed a new holding company and recapitalized Minneapolis-based managed IT providers Atomic Data, LLC and Foundation Technologies, LLC. The recapitalization (deal value undisclosed) provides growth capital to support national expansion and enhance managed IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure engineering and Apple-focused service offerings across North America; Hennepin Partners served as exclusive financial advisor.

ePlus inc., through its subsidiary ePlus Technology, inc., has acquired Bailiwick Services, LLC, a Minneapolis-area provider of managed and professional IT integration services. The transaction, which closed on August 19, 2024, was a purchase from Norwest Equity Partners; terms were not disclosed. The deal enhances ePlus's services capabilities across retail, financial services, restaurant and hospitality end markets.

Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Logic, a Minneapolis-based retail technology services firm that employs approximately 800 professionals and serves more than 150 retail clients worldwide. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture’s retail technology transformation capabilities across merchandising, stores, digital, analytics, cloud, and AI; terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.

RKL eSolutions LLC, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based Sage ERP software and IT consulting firm, has acquired Techware, a Minnesota-based Sage business partner. The deal brings Techware's Sage construction software and cloud/mobile workforce expertise into RKL eSolutions to expand its Construction and Real Estate Development (CRE) practice and regional market coverage.

Cprime, a PE-backed global consulting partner, has agreed to acquire INRY, a ServiceNow Elite Partner known for HR workflow optimization and customer service management. The deal expands Cprime's ServiceNow capabilities and enhances its intelligent orchestration solutions to accelerate digital transformation and client ROI.

Intellias has acquired 100% of C2 Solutions, a Bloomington, Minnesota-based technology services and product lifecycle management firm, to strengthen its digital health and medical devices capabilities and expand its U.S. footprint. The deal adds specialized firmware, software engineering and product lifecycle expertise to Intellias’s global software engineering and digital consulting platform.

Anatomy IT, a healthcare IT platform and portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital, has acquired Manta HealthTech, a Minneapolis–St. Paul–area managed IT services firm focused on healthcare subverticals. The deal expands Anatomy IT's capabilities and footprint in specialties including dental and optometry and brings Manta's customers and cybersecurity/HIPAA expertise into Anatomy IT's platform.

Centroid Systems, a Troy, Michigan–based cloud and managed services provider, has acquired Intelletive, a Minneapolis-based DevOps and technology consulting firm that also maintains the open-source Kubernetes security platform m9sweeper. The deal enhances Centroid's capabilities in DevSecOps, Kubernetes, AI/ML and full‑stack development and appears to be an add-on acquisition that expands the platform's technology services offering.

Cyber Advisors, a Goldner Hawn portfolio company, has acquired Innovative Technology Partners, a Plymouth, Minnesota-based provider of personalized managed IT services. The add-on deal expands Cyber Advisors' managed IT and cybersecurity capabilities and consolidates its presence in the Twin Cities market.

L Squared Capital Partners has acquired SUCCESS Computer Consulting and folded the business into its growing managed IT services platform, Netrio. The transaction builds on L Squared's earlier purchases of Netrio and PCA Technology Group to create a national MSP/MSSP with capabilities in managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity and application development.

Digital Mass, a Minneapolis-based Salesforce technology firm, has acquired Trail Two, a trio of senior Salesforce development consultants. The acquisition adds experienced Salesforce implementation capability and talent as Digital Mass scales its services for mid-market and enterprise clients.

Eliassen Group, a strategic consulting firm and portfolio company of Stone Point Capital, has acquired SafeNet Consulting, an IT services and consulting firm with offices in the Twin Cities and Milwaukee area. The acquisition expands Eliassen's Midwest presence and technology services capabilities — including application development, data & analytics, and cybersecurity — while enabling SafeNet's founder to retire and its team to access broader national opportunities.

Denver-based private equity firm Rallyday Partners has made a growth-stage investment in Minneapolis-based digital product consultancy Livefront, taking a majority interest as the company’s first outside capital. The investment will be used to accelerate sales and marketing, expand design and engineering headcount, and scale Livefront’s national presence and capabilities.

Tietoevry has acquired MentorMate, a Minneapolis-headquartered digital engineering firm, from Taylor Corporation to strengthen Tietoevry Create's North American customer base and global digital engineering capabilities. MentorMate employs more than 1,000 people across the US, Bulgaria and Paraguay, generated about USD 65 million in revenue in 2022, and will be integrated into Tietoevry Create; terms were not disclosed.

Tonka Bay Equity Partners led a majority buyout of Corporate Technologies, a Minneapolis-based managed IT services provider, partnering with CEO Jim Griffith and junior capital provider Northstar Capital. The seller was North Central Equity; Northstar provided debt and an equity co-investment to support the transaction as Corporate Technologies becomes a platform for add-on growth across multiple U.S. markets.

Globant has acquired ExperienceIT, a Minneapolis-based digital transformation consultancy with deep healthcare expertise, and will open its first office in Minneapolis. The deal adds more than 200 consultants to Globant’s capabilities, strengthening its healthcare offerings and expanding its presence in North America.

Cyber Advisors, a Goldner Hawn portfolio company, has acquired KLH, Inc., a Minnetonka-based managed service provider. The add-on transaction (closed September 30, 2022) expands Cyber Advisors' managed IT and cybersecurity capabilities and extends its reach into the SMB market across the Upper Midwest.

Alta Technologies has acquired the assets of Kontio Systems, Inc., including inventory and digital assets, for an undisclosed sum. Kontio founder Mark Maser joins Alta to lead the company's HP Desktop and Google Chromebook resale divisions as Alta expands its refurbished IT hardware offering and inventory base.

UPSTACK has acquired Digital Planet Communications Inc., a St. Paul-based telecom and technology agency. As part of the deal Digital Planet leaders Shawn Schmidt, Brent Killen and Jonathan Watkins will join UPSTACK's advisory team to expand UPSTACK's service capabilities and customer support for SMB, midmarket and enterprise clients.

Achieve Partners has acquired Helios Consulting, a certified Workday advisory partner based in St. Paul, Minnesota. With Achieve's backing, Helios will scale its Rise apprenticeship program to train Workday-certified professionals and expand its Workday implementation and HCM advisory services.

Goldner Hawn recapitalized Cyber Advisors, an IT solutions provider focused on managed services, cybersecurity, vCISO, data center, and cloud solutions, partnering with founder and CEO Shane Vinup. The recapitalization will fund organic growth, invest in the team, and support a buy-and-build strategy targeting MSP and cybersecurity add-ons in the Midwest.

Momentum ECM, a Laserfiche solutions provider based in Pennsylvania, has acquired Minokaw Technologies, LLC effective January 28, 2022. The acquisition brings Minokaw's employees and 30+ tribal clients into Momentum's footprint to expand its Laserfiche implementation, support capabilities and tribal/public-sector customer base; terms were not disclosed.

VC3, a Columbia, South Carolina-based managed service provider, has acquired CW Technology, a Duluth, Minnesota-based managed IT services firm. The deal expands VC3’s presence and service offering in Minnesota, adding local operations and capabilities for municipal and commercial clients.

Aktion Associates acquired Central Consulting Group (CCG), Deltek's largest Vision/Vantagepoint partner, to strengthen Aktion's Deltek product offerings and expand its North American AEC customer base. The transaction brings CCG's Deltek implementation and cloud/managed services capabilities into Aktion's ERP reselling and IT infrastructure platform.

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital completed a growth investment in Concord USA, LLC, a Minneapolis-based technology consulting and digital transformation firm. Concurrently, Concord acquired Upton Hill Inc., a Minnesota-based healthcare-focused consulting firm, to deepen its payor expertise and broaden service capabilities for enterprise clients.

Mosaic Capital Partners led an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) to acquire NuSource Financial, a bank-technology and ATM/branch transformation provider headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, from Tonka Bay Equity Partners. Stellus Capital Management provided first-lien term loan financing and a structured equity co-investment to support the transaction; Pagemill Partners served as NuSource's financial advisor.

TTEC Holdings, Inc. (TTEC) has agreed to acquire Avtex, a full-service customer experience (CX) technology and solutions leader headquartered in Minneapolis. The acquisition expands TTEC's CX technology portfolio and mid-market footprint by adding Avtex's technology partnerships, IP in AI/analytics and automation, and a team of 500+ CX engineers and solution architects.

Logically, a Portland, Maine-based managed IT services provider, has acquired NG2, a Minneapolis-based managed IT services firm. The purchase expands Logically's footprint into the Midwest and adds NG2's customer relationships and regional capabilities to Logically's national MSP platform.

T-Base Communications, a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, has acquired Accessible360, a Minneapolis-based digital accessibility auditing firm. The deal combines T-Base's document accessibility and automation capabilities with Accessible360's web and digital accessibility expertise to create a broader, full-service accessibility offering for enterprise customers; terms were not disclosed.

Atos has agreed to acquire Eagle Creek Software Services, a U.S.-based technology and management consulting firm specializing in Salesforce enterprise implementations. The deal will strengthen Atos' Salesforce and CRM capabilities and expand its digital services footprint in North America; Eagle Creek is headquartered in Minnesota and has more than 250 employees serving customers in healthcare, financial services and communications.

BCforward, an Indianapolis-based IT consulting and staffing firm, has acquired tapQA, a Minneapolis-based quality assurance and testing consultancy. The acquisition expands BCforward’s service capabilities in QA, test automation and DevOps while strengthening its presence in the Twin Cities market.

Improving, a Dallas-based technology consulting firm backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, has acquired Object Partners, a custom software development company headquartered in Minneapolis. The deal positions Improving to expand its Midwest presence and deepen its healthcare and enterprise software delivery capabilities, increasing Improving's annualized revenue and service capacity.

Pythian Services Inc., a Mill Point Capital portfolio company, has acquired Agosto, a Google Cloud Premier Partner headquartered in Minneapolis. The acquisition expands Pythian’s cloud and Google Cloud capabilities across North America; Agosto shareholders retained ownership of the Skykit digital-signage business.

West Monroe Partners acquired Minneapolis-based digital product studio GoKart Labs to expand its digital transformation, product design, and digital innovation capabilities. Clearsight Advisors served as the buyside advisor to West Monroe on the transaction, which West Monroe described as the largest acquisition in its history to date.

Converge Technology Solutions Corp. (TSXV:CTS) acquired Datatrend Technologies, Inc., a Minneapolis/St. Paul–area technology solutions provider, adding Datatrend’s teams and customers to Converge’s Hybrid IT platform. The deal expands Converge’s geographic footprint and technical capabilities in next‑gen data center, hybrid cloud, infrastructure and managed services across North America.

Verndale, a customer experience agency headquartered in Boston, acquired Minneapolis-based Aware Web Solutions to expand its Midwest presence and strengthen its technical capabilities across CRM, CMS, commerce, and PIM solutions. The deal unites Aware's implementation experience in manufacturing, healthcare, and higher education with Verndale's strategy, design, and digital marketing services under the Verndale brand.

Compudyne, a regional IT solutions provider based in Duluth, Minnesota, has acquired the assets of Revelation Network Management, Inc. (RevNet), an IT services firm headquartered in Braham, Minnesota. The acquisition expands Compudyne's presence and technical capabilities in Minnesota, adding RevNet's SaaS, colocation/hosting, business continuity and hybrid cloud offerings to Compudyne's service portfolio.

RLJ Equity Partners acquired a majority interest in Virteva and will merge the Virteva team into Crossfuze to strengthen ServiceNow and managed services capabilities. The combined organization expands Crossfuze's global footprint, bringing additional ServiceNow consultants and widening its managed services offering to corporate and government customers.

NuMSP, a national managed service provider, has acquired Zero1Zero, a Minneapolis-area MSP serving small and mid-sized businesses, as part of its ongoing strategy to build a nationwide MSP platform. The deal expands NuMSP’s presence in the Twin Cities market and brings Zero1Zero’s team and local customers onto the NuMSP platform.
