IT Services Acquisitions in Missouri

NWN Corporation has closed the acquisition of InterVision Systems from MidOcean Partners; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal expands NWN's AI-powered offerings by adding InterVision's cloud implementation, application modernization, intelligent infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities while broadening NWN's footprint in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and public sector markets.

Broad Sky Partners has acquired Frontline Managed Services, a global provider of managed IT and revenue cycle management solutions for the legal industry, from BV Investment Partners (which will remain involved as a minority investor). The investment will fund Frontline's strategic growth, technology investment and continued expansion of its managed services for law firms worldwide; terms were not disclosed.

BPEA Private Equity Fund VIII (operating as EQT Asia) has completed the acquisition of Perficient, Inc., taking the St. Louis-based digital consultancy private and delisting its common stock from NASDAQ. Perficient — a global digital consultancy of about 7,000 employees — will focus on long-term growth, expanding talent and investing in next-generation digital capabilities under EQT ownership.

Turnberry Solutions has acquired 1904labs, a St. Louis-based cloud-focused digital consultancy, to deepen Turnberry's digital modernization, AI, and data & insights capabilities. The deal expands Turnberry's St. Louis footprint and combines 1904labs' cloud and tailored data solutions with Turnberry's broader consulting offerings.

Accenture has acquired Ocelot Consulting, a St. Louis-based cloud consultancy that specializes in full-stack development, data engineering, data science and cloud modernization. The roughly 100-person Ocelot team will join Accenture’s Cloud First/AWS Business Group to expand Accenture’s AWS engineering and data capabilities in the U.S. Midwest; financial terms were not disclosed.

IP Pathways, a Midwest technology solutions provider headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, has acquired Netsolus, a Kansas City-based data center and managed services provider. The acquisition expands IP Pathways' presence and service capabilities in the Kansas City region while retaining Netsolus CEO Bryan Ballard to assist with integration.

Plano-based managed service provider The 20 MSP has acquired Inerva Technology Advisors, a Saint Louis-based IT firm and member of The 20 MSP Group. The acquisition strengthens The 20's national footprint and bolsters its capabilities in the healthcare vertical; Pinecrest Capital Partners served as The 20's financial advisor.

IT Solutions Consulting, a Philadelphia-area managed service provider, has acquired Umbrella Managed Systems, a Kansas City-based MSP known for IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and healthcare sector expertise. The deal expands IT Solutions' geographic footprint and enhances its capabilities in healthcare IT and managed security services; financial terms were not disclosed.

Symetri has signed an agreement to acquire Team D3, a US-based Autodesk Platinum Partner that provides BIM, CAD and lifecycle solutions to manufacturing, power & process, and AECO customers. The acquisition—bringing Team D3's 200+ employees, $120M in combined revenue across its brands and 5,000+ customers—strengthens Symetri's US presence and expands its capabilities in manufacturing, power & process and AECO markets.

IT Solutions Consulting, a managed services provider headquartered near Philadelphia, acquired St. Louis-based Acropolis Technology Group to expand its Midwestern footprint and strengthen managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud service capabilities. The deal formalizes a 15-year relationship and is part of IT Solutions' broader regional consolidation strategy among MSPs; financial terms were not disclosed.

Valiantys, a global Atlassian partner backed by Keensight Capital and Tercera, acquired St. Louis-based Expium LLC to expand its U.S. presence and broaden its Atlassian, DevOps, and custom-application capabilities. The deal combines Expium's expertise in custom application development and DevOps integration with Valiantys' global reach and managed-services platform.

Bluewave Technology Group has acquired iSymplify, a St. Louis–based cloud and telecom advisory agency, expanding Bluewave’s technology advisory and lifecycle management capabilities and presence in the greater St. Louis area. The deal is part of Bluewave’s ongoing roll-up strategy (its sixth acquisition in 12 months) and is supported by a partnership with Columbia Capital to build a national technology advisory services platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.

True North Networks and RightSize Solutions, both portfolio companies of Bluff Point Associates, have been combined to form Visory, a provider of technology management, cybersecurity and hosting solutions serving RIAs, accounting and construction firms. The new platform is headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri and will continue to operate existing offices while scaling services and recruiting talent across the organization.

Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has acquired RKV Technologies, a Jefferson City, Missouri-based provider of managed IT and data-integration services for state and local government agencies. The acquisition expands MCP's capabilities in data integration, network management, cybersecurity, and project management to better serve public-sector and public-safety clients.

AVI-SPL, a Marlin Equity Partners portfolio company, has completed the acquisition of SKC Communications and will merge SKC into AVI-SPL to broaden unified communications (UCC) voice capabilities and expand U.S. geographic coverage. The deal deepens AVI-SPL's cloud voice and contact center expertise while giving SKC customers access to AVI-SPL's global managed services and Symphony platform.

Meeting-room technology provider RoomReady has acquired St. Louis–based commercial electronic systems integrator Wired Technologies, Inc. The deal (closed Nov. 12, 2021) brings Wired Technologies' technicians and more than 70 years of local integrator experience into RoomReady to expand its AV and meeting-room services in the Greater St. Louis area.

3Cloud, a Microsoft Azure-focused services firm, acquired Polaris Solutions to expand its application modernization and DevOps capabilities and reinforce its position as the largest Azure pure-play services provider in the U.S. Polaris’ Azure development team will join 3Cloud’s Application Modernization & Development and DevOps practices; 3Cloud is PE-backed by Gryphon Investors, which completed a majority investment in 2020.

UST has completed the acquisition of the ServiceNow practice/business from abhra, Inc., expanding UST’s SaaS and ServiceNow implementation, integration and support capabilities. Kailash Attal, CEO & Managing Partner of abhra, joins UST to lead SaaS practice incubation and maturity initiatives, supporting greater customer adoption and value realization from SaaS investments.

New Charter Technologies, a platform backed by Oval Partners, has acquired Stronghold Data, an established managed services provider based in Joplin, Missouri. The deal expands New Charter's MSP footprint across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas and represents another add-on in Oval Partners’ buy-and-build strategy for New Charter.

Park Place Technologies has acquired Custom Hardware Engineering & Consulting, Inc. (CHE), a Missouri-based third-party maintenance provider for enterprise storage, networking and mainframe hardware. The deal expands Park Place's engineering depth and parts capabilities in the U.S., bringing CHE's government and large-enterprise customers access to Park Place's ParkView and Entuity network analytics platforms.

N.W.O. I.T. Services, a St. Louis–based managed IT provider, has acquired PenTech Computer Company, an IT services firm founded in 1984. The acquisition expands N.W.O.'s local capabilities and ability to deliver managed IT, helpdesk and cloud services to customers across the greater St. Louis area.

BV Investment Partners partnered with Intelliteach management to recapitalize Intelliteach, acquiring the company from Dominus Capital, L.P. Intelliteach is a St. Louis–headquartered provider of tech-enabled business process outsourcing and managed IT/financial services for law and accounting firms; BV said it will support the company’s organic growth and M&A strategy to expand services and scale the business.
