ERT, a Macquarie Capital–backed digital engineering and mission services company, has acquired Sev1Tech, an IT modernization and digital transformation partner serving space, defense and federal customers. The deal expands ERT's mission-focused IT, cloud and cyber capabilities while Sev1Tech's team continues supporting existing government contracts.

Tetra Tech, Inc. has acquired Halvik Corp to expand its high-end data analytics, AI, systems modernization, and cybersecurity capabilities across U.S. federal agencies. Halvik, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, with about 600 employees, will join Tetra Tech's Government Services Group; financial terms were not disclosed.

Copper River Family of Companies, a Native Alaska‑owned federal contractor, has acquired The Prospective Group (TPG), a provider of IT and mission‑services for U.S. federal agencies. The acquisition expands Copper River's cybersecurity, analytics, cloud, and enterprise modernization capabilities and broadens its federal customer base.

22nd Century Technologies has acquired BT Federal, BT's U.S. government contracting subsidiary, from BT to form a new operating unit branded 22nd Century Networks. The deal expands 22nd Century's managed network and telecommunications capabilities nationwide to support U.S. federal missions; BT said the sale is part of a portfolio simplification and refocus on UK-centric operations. The transaction was cleared by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

Synergy ECP, a Columbia, Maryland-based federal IT and cybersecurity provider, has acquired NetServices, a nearly 30-year provider of secure technology solutions for defense, intelligence, and federal civilian customers. The transaction was supported by Synergy ECP's financial partner Falfurrias Management Partners and expands Synergy's technical capabilities across cloud migration, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and enterprise IT operations.

Naviant, a Madison-based intelligent automation and process consulting firm, has acquired Versivo, a business process automation provider headquartered in Gainesville, Virginia. The deal brings Versivo's team and Versiform eForm/cloud solutions into Naviant's portfolio to expand its automation, AI and content-management capabilities.

VTG, a Virginia-based national security solutions provider backed by A&M Capital Partners, has acquired Miklos Systems, Inc. (MSI), a Fairfax, Virginia software and systems engineering firm that serves the Intelligence Community. The deal brings MSI's employee-owned engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science capabilities into VTG to deepen technical capabilities and scale mission-focused services for defense and intelligence customers.

Rootstock Software has acquired Praxis Solutions, LLC, a Salesforce consulting and implementation firm. Praxis founder Ohad Idan will join Rootstock as Vice President of Product and the Praxis consulting team will be integrated into Rootstock’s Global Professional Services to deepen Salesforce ecosystem expertise and expand professional services capacity.

Presidio has acquired Achieve One, a Virginia-based systems integrator and cloud solutions provider, to expand its Mid-Atlantic presence and deepen cloud and modern platform capabilities. The deal brings Achieve One’s technical certifications and customer relationships across public sector, manufacturing, financial services, and healthcare into Presidio’s broader services and partner ecosystem.

Falfurrias Management Partners has made a strategic growth investment in Woven Solutions, a Reston, Virginia-based provider of cloud-native software, DevOps, cybersecurity, and AI/ML solutions for the national security community. The Woven management team will remain in place, with a Falfurrias advisor joining the board; proceeds will be used to accelerate technical innovation, deepen product offerings, and pursue strategic acquisitions.

Rotation Digital has acquired QueBIT, a finance and xP&A technology consulting firm, with investment support from The Brydon Group. QueBIT will operate as Rotation Digital's Finance Technology Business Unit, retaining its leadership and team while expanding platform capabilities; legal and financial advisors included Goodwin Procter, Mowery & Schoenfeld, and Ernst & Young Capital Advisors.

Applied Information Sciences (AIS) has acquired Dorrean to expand AIS's presence in federal national security and law enforcement markets and broaden its cloud, data, and AI mission capabilities. The acquisition brings Dorrean's intelligence analysis and mission support expertise into AIS's portfolio, enabling end-to-end offerings to DOJ, FBI, DHS and other federal customers.

CASE, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, has acquired Ragnarok Technologies, a Reston, Virginia-based IT services provider serving federal and commercial clients. The founders will remain in leadership roles as CASE expands its capabilities in blockchain analysis, digital forensics, cloud infrastructure, and software development to deepen its presence in the National Capital Region; financial terms were not disclosed.

TELUS Digital has acquired Gerent, a U.S.-based Salesforce-focused consultancy, to expand its Salesforce implementation and agentic AI capabilities. The Gerent brand will be retired by the end of Q3 2025 and its services and personnel will be integrated into TELUS Digital to drive cross-sell opportunities and enhance CX automation offerings.

The 20 MSP acquired Alexandria-based Mid-Atlantic Computer Solutions, marking the firm's first M&A deal of 2025 and expanding its presence in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Mid-Atlantic, which joined The 20 MSP Group in 2020, will keep founder Will O'Neal and several key team members on board; Pinecrest Capital Partners served as exclusive financial advisor to The 20 on the transaction.

SMX has acquired cBEYONData, a provider of ERP implementation, managed services, and proprietary budget management and financial analytics solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies. cBEYONData will operate under SMX as a new Enterprise Systems and Solutions business unit; financial terms were not disclosed. cBEYONData was previously a portfolio company of Bluestone Investment Partners.

Integral Federal has acquired Reston-based IT solutions firm Pragmatics, LLC to broaden its mission-critical support for national security customers. The deal adds Pragmatics' expertise in agile development, DevSecOps, cloud and other digital solutions to Integral's capabilities, enhancing its ability to deliver integrated services to federal defense, intelligence and civilian agencies.

Tria Federal, a Sagewind Capital-backed technology and advisory services provider, has acquired Softrams to expand its digital transformation and system modernization capabilities for federal health and public safety agencies. The acquisition positions Softrams as the core of Tria's new Public Health business unit and adds over 650 technical professionals to the combined organization, creating a scaled provider supporting more than 20 federal agencies.

Zennify, a data-first technology consultancy, has acquired Terazo, a Richmond-based digital engineering firm, to expand its AI, data engineering, and platform modernization capabilities for regulated industries. The deal combines Zennify's Salesforce and regulated-industry expertise with Terazo's strengths in data engineering, APIs, and AI to deliver broader enterprise-scale data and AI solutions.

NewSpring Holdings has acquired Xpect Solutions, a Fairfax, Virginia–based systems integrator that provides enterprise IT and physical security solutions to federal agencies. Lafayette Square provided a debt facility to support the transaction as NewSpring builds a federal, law-enforcement-focused platform to expand mission-critical IT and security capabilities.

Dataprise, a portfolio company of Trinity Hunt Partners, has acquired 360IT Partners, an IT service provider based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The deal expands Dataprise's East Coast footprint into Southeast Virginia and gives 360IT Partners' roughly 130 clients access to Dataprise's managed IT and cybersecurity offerings.

Mythics, LLC — through its platform Emergent, LLC — acquired the technology resale business of Three Wire Systems. The business will join Emergent to expand its cloud, open‑source and security‑focused technology offerings to federal and public‑sector customers; Mythics and Emergent are PE‑backed following a One Equity Partners investment in 2022.

Sverica Capital Management has made a strategic growth investment in FOUR Inc., a boutique public-sector IT aggregator and value-added reseller. FOUR's leadership will remain in place and Sverica partners will join the company's board to support expansion of FOUR's contract vehicle access, VAR network, and financing and deal lifecycle capabilities in the federal, state, local and higher education markets.

NexTech Solutions (NTS) has acquired Nomad Solutions, a Virginia-based IT firm specializing in government data and communications services. The deal strengthens NTS's capabilities and establishes a brick-and-mortar presence in Virginia to expand support for federal civilian executive agencies outside the Department of Defense.

DFW Capital Partners has completed an investment and recapitalization of B&A (Bart & Associates), a McLean, Virginia-based federal IT systems integrator, acquiring the company from Battle Investment Group. Stellus Capital Management provided unitranche financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction; terms were not disclosed. DFW said it will help B&A scale by supporting hiring, talent and capability expansion across its cloud, DevSecOps, data analytics and human capital service lines.

C Infinity Solutions LLC has completed a merger with Corgibytes LLC, integrating Corgibytes' engineers and clients into the C Infinity brand. The deal expands C Infinity's modernization and maintenance capabilities for custom software, adding skilled engineers across the United States, Canada and South America to its team.

Valiantys has acquired Contegix, an Atlassian consulting and FedRAMP-authorized cloud provider, to bolster Valiantys' presence in North America and expand its capabilities in the U.S. Federal and regulated markets. The transaction is supported by Valiantys' majority shareholder Keensight Capital and growth investor Tercera; Contegix was previously backed by Strattam Capital.

IMB Partners completed a growth equity investment in Ashburn Consulting LLC, a Northern Virginia-based IT consulting firm that provides network engineering and cybersecurity services to federal, state and local government agencies as well as commercial clients. The minority growth investment is intended to support Ashburn’s continued expansion of capabilities and government contracting presence.

UBEO Business Services, a business technology provider headquartered in Austin, Texas, has acquired Commonwealth Digital Office Solutions, a Sterling, Virginia–based office technology and managed print services provider. The acquisition expands UBEO’s regional footprint and enhances its capabilities in managed print, document management and workflow automation to better serve clients in the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia markets.

Cantey Tech, a Charleston-based IT managed services provider backed by LNC Partners, has acquired the assets of Network Computing Group (NCG), a Roanoke, Virginia-based managed services provider. The deal is an add-on to Cantey Tech's MSP platform and is intended to expand Cantey's regional presence and deliver enhanced capabilities to NCG clients — particularly in security and project management.

Abt Global has acquired TSPi to integrate TSPi's digital capabilities, low-code/no-code platforms, cloud and data science expertise, and agile delivery into Abt's consulting and research offerings. The acquisition will expand Abt's ability to deliver citizen-centric, data-driven digital solutions for public sector clients worldwide.

Bcore, a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired 2 Twelve Solutions to bolster its rapid prototyping, digital transformation, cloud, and cybersecurity capabilities for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. The add-on strengthens Bcore's end-to-end engineering lab capabilities and expands its mission-focused technology services to federal agencies.

Accenture Federal Services has acquired Cognosante, a provider of digital transformation and cloud modernization services to U.S. federal health agencies. Cognosante, which has won more than $300 million in federal prime contracts over the last two years and counts the VA and CMS among its largest customers, will be merged into Accenture Federal Services; terms were not disclosed.

Park Place Technologies has acquired SDV Solutions, a Virginia-based, Service-Disabled Veteran–owned provider of data center hardware maintenance, managed services and professional services to U.S. Federal Government agencies. The founding owners Mike and Erin McMahan will remain involved to ensure continuity; Agile Equity provided exclusive investment banking services to SDV Solutions. The acquisition expands Park Place's federal capabilities and depth of security-cleared field engineers while leveraging Park Place's broader service and supply-chain platforms.

Tetra Tech has acquired LS Technologies, a Fairfax, Virginia-based federal enterprise technology services and management consulting firm, to expand its Federal IT practice. The deal adds LS Technologies' capabilities in data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation and brings approximately 500 employees and new federal clients to Tetra Tech's Government Services Group; terms were not disclosed.

AArete, a global management and technology consulting firm based in Chicago, has acquired Legerity, a Norfolk, Virginia-based technology consulting firm and Pega-authorized partner. The acquisition expands AArete's technology and digital capabilities—particularly in healthcare payer administration systems—and will integrate Legerity's team and services under the AArete brand.

Management Science & Innovation (MSI) has acquired Ascolta, a veteran‑owned provider of software development, DevOps, cloud migration and information security services. The acquisition strengthens MSI's AI, DevOps and secure software development capabilities for federal and defense clients and expands its technical services offering to government and commercial customers.

Blue Delta Capital Partners has made a minority growth investment in federal IT solutions provider Concept Plus, LLC to support the company’s strategic growth, strengthen its executive leadership team and establish a board of directors. The investment will help Concept Plus expand its capabilities in the Oracle ecosystem and better serve U.S. federal government customers.

Magna5, a NewSpring Holdings-backed managed IT and cybersecurity platform, has acquired Advanced Network Systems (ANS), a Charlottesville, Virginia-based managed IT and cybersecurity provider. The add-on expands Magna5's scale and presence in the Mid-Atlantic (Virginia and West Virginia) and strengthens its managed IT, cybersecurity, data recovery, and cloud service capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has acquired Force Security Solutions, a managed security services provider and systems integrator founded in 2003. The acquisition expands Konica Minolta’s video security solutions and managed security services capabilities, strengthening its ability to deliver end-to-end physical security and AI-driven solutions to commercial and government customers.

Bluewave Technology Group has acquired OnCall Telecom, a Virginia Beach-based telecom advisory and cloud technology services firm. The undisclosed deal brings OnCall's team and telecom advisory capabilities into Bluewave to strengthen the firm's presence and client-focused technology advisory services across the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast.

424 Capital has made a strategic investment in Neovera, a Reston-based consulting and managed services provider focused on cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity. The partnership will provide capital and support to expand Neovera's service offerings and technological capabilities while keeping senior expertise engaged with clients across financial services, technology, and healthcare.

Main Street Capital Corporation completed a $44.0 million portfolio investment to recapitalize Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC), a mid-market provider of IT modernization and digital transformation services to U.S. federal government agencies. The financing included first-lien senior secured term debt and a direct equity investment and was done in partnership with the company's existing owners and management team.

Auctus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has completed the acquisition of H3 Solutions Inc., a Manassas, Virginia-based provider of infrastructure modernization and Microsoft cloud services for enterprise and government customers. The deal is part of Auctus' strategy to build a portfolio of specialized technology consulting companies and accelerate growth through integration with its platform and shared services.

ASRC Federal has acquired Broadleaf, Inc., a provider of IT services including cybersecurity, network engineering and cloud migration, adding nearly 600 employees. The acquisition deepens ASRC Federal's presence across key DoD commands (including Aberdeen Proving Ground) and expands its footprint with new DoD and federal civilian customers.

HITS Corporation, a St. Louis-based information technology services provider, has acquired Imagex, a woman-owned document scanning and document management firm headquartered in Reston, Virginia. HITS will retain the Imagex name and location and expects the acquisition to expand its service capabilities and deepen its presence in the federal government and eastern U.S. markets.

QuadraNet has acquired Contegix's commercial BlackMesh CMS platform, private cloud services and associated commercial CMS hosting customer base. Financing for the transaction was provided by VSS Capital Partners; Contegix will continue to focus on Atlassian solutions and FedRAMP managed cloud services following the divestiture.

cBEYONData LLC, a Bluestone Investment Partners portfolio company, has completed the acquisition of Summit2Sea Consulting, LLC. The add-on expands cBEYONData’s data analytics, RPA, and enterprise application modernization capabilities to better support federal customers across financial and ERP platforms.

Concord USA, LLC, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, has acquired Authentic Digital, a Richmond-based digital experience consultancy. The add-on expands Concord's digital experience capabilities and nearshore delivery presence to accelerate client digital transformation and broaden service offerings.

One Equity Partners (OEP) has purchased a controlling interest in Mythics, LLC and its wholly-owned subsidiary Emergent, LLC (together, Mythics Emergent Group or MEG), a Virginia Beach–based IT solutions provider focused on the public sector. The founders and senior executives retain a minority stake; OEP said the investment will support MEG's growth, capability expansion and transformational acquisitions as public agencies modernize their IT systems.
