The deal is positioned as a strategic fit for Carlyle’s new dedicated middle-market Aerospace, Defense & Government and Industrials platform, supporting Secturion’s product roadmap and growth ambitions.
Global investment firm Carlyle has signed a definitive agreement to acquire up to 100% of Chung Ho Group, a Korean home and healthcare appliance (“HHA”) rental platform. Global investment firm Carlyle acquired majority stakes in U.S. healthcare revenue cycle management providers Knack RCM and EqualizeRCM to create an AI-native, global, multi-specialty RCM platform. The deal combines Knack’s global delivery and orchestration platform (Workmate) with Equalize’s proprietary payer enrollment software and AI-driven tools such as Bill Smart for denial prediction and avoidance; founders Rajiv Sharma and Nagi Rao will reinvest to remain invested in the combined platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Carlyle has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Cleveland-based registered investment adviser MAI Capital Management, valuing the firm at more than $2.8 billion. The transaction deepens Carlyle’s involvement in MAI following its initial 2021 investment via Galway Holdings, with Galway Holdings, Harvest Partners, and Oak Hill Capital exiting. The deal closed effective June 4, 2026, with MAI employees retaining a large minority stake and MAI continuing to operate autonomously under its leadership team.
