Cybersecurity Acquisitions in South Carolina

CyberProof, a UST company, has acquired Interpres Security, a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based vendor recognized for Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and Automated Security Control Assessments (ASCA). The acquisition will integrate Interpres's CTEM/ASCA platform into CyberProof's managed security services to provide continuous, risk-prioritized exposure management and improve security outcomes for enterprise customers.

HelpSystems (now operating as Fortra) acquired PhishLabs, a digital risk protection and cyber threat intelligence provider. The deal brings PhishLabs' threat intelligence and mitigation capabilities into HelpSystems/Fortra's cybersecurity portfolio to strengthen email security, vulnerability management, and data protection offerings.

Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory has acquired aeCyberSolutions, the industrial cybersecurity division of South Carolina-based aeSolutions. The transaction is a divestiture of aeSolutions' cybersecurity unit and will allow Deloitte to expand its industrial/OT cybersecurity capabilities while aeSolutions refocuses on its core process safety and automation engineering services.
