Industrial Services Acquisitions in Florida

Investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners have acquired Security 101, a West Palm Beach-based commercial security integration services provider. The deal positions Morgan Stanley to expand Security 101's national accounts program and support continued organic growth and M&A activity; prior investor Gemspring Capital had partnered with the company during its prior scale-up phase.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Universal Fire Systems, a 34-year fire sprinkler specialist based in Tampa, Florida, expanding Pye-Barker's presence and fire protection capabilities in the Tampa Bay market. The deal brings Universal's portfolio of commercial projects and experienced technicians into Pye-Barker's nationwide platform; Pye-Barker is represented by Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in the transaction.

Industrial Service Solutions (ISS), a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has acquired MSHS Pacific Power Group (MSHS & PPG) from MPE Partners. The add-on expands ISS's nationwide footprint with 10+ locations, adds more than 450 technical and support staff and 150+ OEM relationships, broadening ISS's combustion engine, marine and power generation MRO capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Reliability Solutions announced the acquisitions of AMRRI, LUBE-IT and Spartakus APM to expand its industrial reliability capabilities across training, lubrication management software, and modern asset performance management. The deals broaden Reliability Solutions’ end-to-end offering for maintenance and reliability teams across heavy industry, manufacturing, energy and process sectors, with integration and brand alignment planned through 2026.

Securitas Technology has acquired Sonitrol Ft. Lauderdale and Level 5 Security Group to expand its service coverage and capabilities in Florida. The deal brings Sonitrol's cloud-based CORE platform and Level 5's four decades of regional security expertise into Securitas Technology's global security, health, and safety technology platform.

Houston-based Winterford Capital has partnered with multi-generation, family-owned Florida Powertrain & Hydraulics to support the company's next chapter of growth. Heritage Capital Group served as exclusive advisor to Florida Powertrain; financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Everpath Management, a Chicago-based investment firm, has acquired Megawattage LLC, a Fort Lauderdale provider of commercial generator services and emergency-response power solutions. The deal, financed with support from Plexus Capital, positions Megawattage as a platform for geographic expansion across the Southeast and pursuit of add-on acquisitions and operational investment.

Norlee Group has acquired Beaumont Electric Company, a Naples, Florida-based electrical contracting firm, in a transaction completed on September 30, 2025; terms were not disclosed. The deal, supported by sponsor Heartwood Partners and advised to the seller by Madison Street Capital, expands Norlee's footprint and service capabilities in Southwest Florida and the broader Southeastern U.S.

Ascent Lifting, a Shorehill Capital portfolio company, acquired Cocoa, Florida-based Brevard Rigging Supply LLC on October 6, 2025. The add-on expands Ascent Lifting's presence in Florida and enhances its capabilities in lifting and rigging distribution and fabrication, with Brevard serving end markets including space exploration; terms were not disclosed.

KLH Capital partnered with the management team of Artmark Products Corp. and Artmark Associates, Inc. to complete a management buyout. Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Doral, Florida, Artmark is a value-added industrial distributor and global sourcing partner; management will retain equity and Jim O'Keefe will operate the company as CEO while Frank Kiernan transitions to Board Advisor.

Impact Fire Services, LLC has acquired World Life Safety, a Fort Lauderdale-based full-service fire sprinkler and life-safety systems company. The deal expands Impact Fire’s footprint in South Florida and augments its local service capabilities by adding World Life Safety’s installation, inspection, maintenance and monitoring expertise.

Ara Partners, a private investment firm focused on industrial decarbonization, has acquired a majority stake in Microtec Development & Holdings LLC to accelerate commercialization of Microtec's Turbo Mill technology and AggrePlex's PozzoDyne ground glass pozzolan. The investment will fund rollout of AggrePlex facilities across the United States and internationally to scale low‑carbon, waste‑to‑value construction materials and reduce concrete-related emissions.

Workdry International has acquired Atlas Dewatering, a Port Orange, Florida-based specialist in wellpoint and drainage installations, pump rental and maintenance. The deal — backed by Workdry’s majority shareholder Arcus Infrastructure Partners — bolsters Holland Pump’s in-house dewatering capabilities and strengthens Workdry’s North American rental footprint.

Advanced Industrial Devices (AID), a portfolio company of Black Bay Energy Capital, has acquired Economy Control Systems (ECS), effective September 8, 2025. The acquisition adds ECS’s custom control-panel manufacturing and integration capabilities for water, wastewater, and industrial applications to AID’s platform, expanding AID’s presence in the water infrastructure and industrial dewatering markets on the U.S. East Coast.

Crescentia Capital, the equity buyout arm of Calvert Street Investment Partners, has made a strategic growth investment in Bradenton, Florida-based C&D Industrial Maintenance LLC to support organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The capital will help C&D expand its commercial door and loading dock services across the Southeast as it builds a regional service platform.

MES Life Safety, a national provider of safety and emergency response equipment, has acquired Orlando-based WC Fire Safety. The deal expands MES Life Safety's service capabilities and strengthens its presence in Florida and the Southeast, while WC Fire Safety's founder James Watson transitions ownership to MES.

ONCAP, the lower-middle-market private equity platform of Onex Corporation, has acquired Mid-State Industrial Maintenance, a Lakeland, Florida-based provider of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, from CenterGate Capital. The acquisition expands ONCAP's presence in industrial services and adds capabilities and geographic coverage across the Southeast and Midwest U.S., where Mid-State serves utilities, chemical processing, building products, food & beverage and renewables customers.

RESA Power, a Kohlberg-backed power-systems services platform, has acquired MP Predictive Technologies, a NETA-accredited predictive maintenance and electrical testing provider based in Orlando, Florida. The add-on expands RESA Power's field services footprint in Florida and enhances its electrical testing and asset-management capabilities.

VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) acquired Turbine Weld Industries, a Venice, Florida-based specialist in hot-section engine component repairs, for approximately $50 million in cash. The acquisition expands VSE Aviation's MRO capabilities on Pratt & Whitney Canada platforms (PW100, PT6, JT15D) and positions VSE to invest in capacity growth and strengthen OEM relationships.

Impact Fire has acquired Tannassee Fire, a Naples, Florida-based provider of fire alarm, fire sprinkler and commercial security services. The deal expands Impact Fire's Gulf Coast presence and adds a fifth Florida location, allowing the combined business to offer a broader suite of fire and security services to local commercial end markets.

Chicago-based private equity firm Shore Capital Partners has partnered with Ackerman Plumbing, Inc., a Sarasota-based commercial plumbing services provider. Shore will support Ackerman's growth—assembling a board, investing in team and infrastructure, and expanding the company's footprint across the southeastern United States.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired WSE Fire & Security Systems, a Miami-based fire alarm, security systems and CCTV specialist, enabling Pye-Barker to add security and alarm capabilities to its life safety services across South Florida. WSE, founded in 1993 and owned by the Serrano family, will continue to service local customers while gaining access to Pye-Barker's national network and resources.

One Equity Partners (OEP) has invested in McNICHOLS Co., a Tampa-based value-added distributor and fabricator of specialty metals and fiberglass products. The McNichols family will remain significant shareholders and continue to manage the business as OEP supports the company's next phase of organic and inorganic growth; financial terms were not disclosed.

NextGen Security, a portfolio company of Dunes Point Capital, has acquired Micro Security Solutions, a Miramar, Florida-based electronic security integration firm. The add-on expands NextGen’s access control and video surveillance capabilities and geographic presence in healthcare, government, and other institutional end markets.

Russel Metals Inc. has closed its acquisition of Tampa Bay Steel, adding the Tampa-based steel distributor and processor to its Southern U.S. businesses. The purchase expands Russel Metals' regional presence and processing capabilities as it pursues growth in the southern U.S. market.

Endries International, a distributor of industrial fasteners and supply-chain solutions, has acquired Assembly Fasteners, Inc., a Florida-based distributor specializing in latches, fasteners and inventory-management services. The deal expands Endries' presence across the southeastern United States and adds AFI's VMI/CMI and iBinDrop fulfillment capabilities to Endries' distribution footprint.

Heartwood Partners made a growth investment in Norlee Group, a Jacksonville, Florida-based provider of electrical, mechanical, technology, fire protection and engineering services, with White Wolf Capital exiting its prior investment. Heartwood is partnering with Norlee's management to accelerate organic growth and support add-on acquisitions; since the investment Norlee has completed three strategic acquisitions to expand capabilities and market presence in Florida. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

Bertram Capital has invested in Perimeter Solutions Group (PSG), a Tampa-based provider of commercial and industrial perimeter protection solutions including permanent and rental fencing, automated gates, and access control services. The transaction, disclosed as Bertram’s second platform investment from its fifth flagship fund, will support PSG’s geographic expansion across the Southern U.S. and growth through organic and inorganic initiatives; terms were not disclosed.

GenNx360 Capital Partners has invested in Shenandoah Industrial Solutions, a Pompano Beach, Florida-based provider of underground infrastructure services, acquiring the company from KLH Capital. The investment will support Shenandoah’s expansion of operations, service capabilities (pipe cleaning, inspection, and trenchless rehabilitation), and continued geographic growth across Florida and the Southeastern U.S.

Montage Partners has acquired Military Fasteners, a West Melbourne, Florida-based eCommerce distributor of mil‑spec fasteners serving the aerospace and defense sectors. Brookside Capital Partners provided unitranche debt and an equity co-investment to support the transaction.

Summit Fire & Security LLC (a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc./Summit Companies) acquired Advanced Security & Communications of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, effective September 11, 2024. The deal expands Summit's service footprint in central Florida—customers will be served from Summit's Daytona, FL location and gain access to an expanded set of fire protection, security and monitoring offerings; owner Steve Hunter is passing the business to Summit.

Endries International, a leading distributor of industrial fasteners and Class-C components, has acquired ServTronics, a distributor of fasteners and electro-mechanical hardware based in Winter Park, Florida. The acquisition strengthens Endries' capabilities and product synergies in high-reliability end markets including aerospace, defense, and medical equipment, and brings ServTronics' inventory management solutions and OEM customer relationships into the Endries platform.

Southern Home Services has acquired Elite Electric, Plumbing & Air, a Port St. Lucie-based residential plumbing, HVAC and electrical services provider. The deal strengthens Southern Home Services' contiguous Florida footprint along the I-95 corridor and will allow Elite to remain branded locally while benefiting from Southern's resources to support growth and employee retention.

Workdry International, backed by Arcus Infrastructure Partners, has acquired US-based Holland Pump Company from XPV Water Partners to establish a North American division. The acquisition adds 15 US branches and more than 1,000 pump assets (and ~120+ employees) to Workdry's rental fleet and expands the group's presence across East and Gulf Coast markets serving infrastructure, construction, municipal and industrial customers.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Cox Fire Protection, a long-standing Florida fire protection company with three locations and four decades of service. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker's Southeast footprint and enhances its ability to provide long-term service and maintenance to commercial customers in Florida; the Cox Fire team will continue to serve customers under Pye-Barker.

Summit Fire & Security LLC (a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc./Summit Companies) acquired Daytona Fire & Safety Equipment, Inc., effective June 25, 2024. The purchase expands Summit’s service footprint across the greater Daytona Beach area and adds local capabilities in fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, sprinklers, alarms and special hazard systems while retaining the existing Daytona team.

EVI Industries, Inc. (NYSE American: EVI) executed and completed a definitive agreement to acquire Lakeland, Florida–based Laundry Pro of Florida, Inc., a distributor of commercial laundry equipment that also provides installation and maintenance services. The acquisition — EVI's 27th overall and 11th in the Southeast — expands EVI's market share in Florida and is expected to be accretive to results; consideration was paid in cash.

Holland Pump Company has acquired C&R Distribution, Inc. (dba Florida Dewatering) of Tampa, Florida to expand its fleet, capabilities and customer base across the Florida Gulf Coast. The deal is Holland Pump's seventh acquisition since partnering with XPV Water Partners in 2019 and is intended to broaden the company's product line and service footprint in the region.

APi Group Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Elevated Facility Services from L Squared Capital Partners. Elevated, a Tampa-based provider of elevator and escalator maintenance, repair, and modernization services with ~600 employees and operations in 22 states, is expected to close in Q2 2024, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approval.

GFL Environmental has acquired Angelo's Recycled Materials, a Florida-based construction & demolition recycling and disposal business with seven facilities including a Class III C&D landfill, material recovery and concrete processing operations. The deal expands GFL's footprint and capacity in the Southeast U.S., particularly in the Tampa/Dade City area, and was announced via LinkedIn by a GFL operations manager; the seller was the Angelo/Iafrate family.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired family-owned DaBo Fire Inspection & Service and DaBo Fire Protection in St. Petersburg, Florida. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker’s fire sprinkler inspection, testing and service capabilities in the Tampa Bay market and brings DaBo’s team and customer relationships into Pye-Barker’s nationwide platform.

Concentric, a national industrial power services organization (now a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.), has acquired Jantech Services, Inc., a provider of UPS systems, batteries and related installation, testing and maintenance services. The acquisition expands Concentric’s mission-critical power capabilities and East Coast footprint to better serve data centers, hospitals, telecom and other facility customers.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety acquired American Fire & Safety Supply, a fire protection and life safety equipment and service provider based in Ocala, Florida, expanding Pye-Barker’s footprint in northern Florida and southern Georgia. The American Fire leadership and team will remain in place to continue serving local customers as part of Pye-Barker’s growing platform of life-safety and security businesses.

First Reserve, a global private equity firm focused on energy and industrial markets, has acquired AP Group LLC ("AP4"), a global provider of gas and steam turbine maintenance, parts and field services. The acquisition establishes a platform for First Reserve in mission-critical turbomachinery aftermarket services and positions AP4 for organic growth and complementary add-on acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Painters Supply & Equipment Co. (PSE), a Michigan-based paint and coatings distributor, has acquired Interbay Coatings, Inc., a specialty coatings distributor headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The acquisition expands PSE's specialty coatings capabilities and adds a regional presence in the heavy marine and industrial coatings end-markets.

The Valcourt Group has acquired woman‑owned AwnClean USA, a Tampa-based exterior building cleaning company, to expand its service footprint in the Tampa, Florida market. The deal adds awning, pressure washing, window and roof cleaning capabilities to Valcourt’s nationwide platform (which operates in 24 states with ~1,800 employees) while preserving AwnClean’s existing operations under its owner, Amy Diehl.

Princeton Equity Group completed a strategic growth investment in Pirtek, a leading franchisor of hydraulic and industrial hose repair and replacement services. The partnership will provide capital and resources to support Pirtek’s franchisees, expand its North American footprint, and accelerate continued growth while key management and the Duncan family retain ownership.

Empower Rental Group (ERG), a platform of local equipment rental providers, has acquired Florida Rental Equipment, a three-location equipment rental company headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The sellers — including co-owner Trey Martin — were advised by Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors.

Island Pump and Tank, a portfolio company of Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, has acquired Petroleum Equipment Construction, Inc. (PEC), a Lockhart, Florida–based provider of maintenance, testing, repair and installation services for petroleum storage, fueling systems and point-of-sale equipment. The add-on expands Island Pump’s geographic footprint into Florida and enhances service coverage for its existing customers; Capital Southwest Corporation provided financing for the transaction.

South-Florida marina operator Bradford Marine has acquired the real estate and service operations of Roscioli Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale from OneWater Marine Inc. The acquisition—covering the yard, staff (about 100 employees) and supporting facilities—expands Bradford Marine’s footprint and service capabilities, increasing lift capacity, in-water dockage and covered storage.
