Industrial Services Acquisitions in New York

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Lowitt Alarms & Security Systems, a Long Island-based provider of security, intrusion detection, video surveillance and fire alarm services. The deal expands Pye-Barker’s security and life-safety footprint in the Northeast and will keep Lowitt’s technicians serving customers in Hicksville and surrounding Long Island communities.

Vantage Elevator Solutions, headquartered in Bronx, New York, has acquired BSIS, a New York–based installer of passenger and freight door systems, cabs, cab remodeling, platforms and emergency repairs. The acquisition will integrate BSIS' field and technical services into Vantage's portfolio (alongside Freight Tech) to expand capability and deliver more comprehensive field support and manufacturing services to customers.

Allmark Door, a Mid-Atlantic commercial door and loading dock solutions provider, has acquired the dock & door services division of Alta Equipment Group ("Alta Dock & Door"). The acquisition expands Allmark Door's geographic coverage northward into Long Island and New England, strengthening its service footprint from Virginia to Massachusetts and adding experienced technicians and product depth.

Perimeter Security Partners (PSP) acquired Shore Systems, Inc. and Shore Technology Group, Inc. on August 27, 2025. Chris Guido, founder of Shore, will continue as President and has become an equity partner in PSP as the firms work to expand PSP's perimeter and electronic security capabilities and geographic reach.

Surge Private Equity closed a majority investment in White Plains Linen, a Peekskill, New York-based commercial laundry and linen rental provider. The transaction was valued at over $50 million and closed with debt financing provided by Capital Southwest Corporation; Surge will support WPL's growth and operations in the New York metropolitan hospitality market.

Altus Fire & Life Safety, a portfolio company of funds advised by Apax Partners LLP, has acquired Star Fire Protection to expand Altus's presence in the U.S. Northeast. The deal will allow Altus to offer its full suite of fire protection and life safety services to Star Fire's customers and strengthen regional coverage.

Convergint has acquired A+ Technology & Security Solutions, a Bay Shore, New York-based security integrator with over 30 years of experience, to strengthen its integrated security and public sector capabilities in the Northeast. All A+ Technology employees are joining Convergint, bringing expertise in video management, access control, visitor management, and open-standards solutions to expand Convergint’s local presence and service offerings.

Maumee-based GPRS has acquired Accu-Scan GPR Corporation, a Middle Village, New York provider of concrete scanning and utility locating services. The acquisition expands GPRS' subsurface detection capabilities and strengthens its market position in the Northeastern United States as an add-on to its existing services platform.

EVI Industries, Inc. has completed the asset purchase of ASN Laundry Group, a New York–based distributor of commercial laundry equipment and provider of installation and maintenance services. The deal — EVI's 31st acquisition in the commercial laundry distribution and service industry — expands EVI's presence and market share in New York.

Ecore International, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based circularity and reclaimed-rubber products company, has acquired HTI Recycling and its subsidiaries Edge Rubber Recycling and D&G Heavy Equipment Leasing. The deal expands Ecore's supply chain and crumb-rubber manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. Northeast and brings approximately 81 HTI employees into Ecore's organization.

EthosEnergy, a global provider of services and solutions for rotating equipment, has acquired Turbine Services, Ltd. (TSL), a Saratoga Springs, New York-based manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket parts for heavy-duty gas and steam turbines. The deal augments EthosEnergy’s gas turbine product offering and secures continuity for TSL’s employees and customers.

Safety Marking, a portfolio company of Highview Capital, has acquired Cohoes, New York-based Straight Line Industries to expand its footprint into Upstate and Western New York. Straight Line founder Rick Fremont will continue to lead day-to-day operations and remain an owner as the businesses integrate.

Axxiom Elevator, a South Florida-based elevator and escalator services provider backed by Gauge Capital, has completed the acquisition of Evolution Elevator & Escalator Corp., a Staten Island, New York-based service firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale. Evolution founder Lou James and the company's mechanics will remain in place as Axxiom integrates the business to expand its geographic footprint and service capabilities in New York and New Jersey.

Schneider Electric has acquired a 75% stake in Buffalo-based liquid-cooling specialist Motivair Corp in an all-cash transaction reported at $850 million. Schneider has an option to buy the remaining 25% by 2028; the move expands Schneider’s data-center thermal management capabilities and completes its planned data-center acquisitions for the near term.

Bessemer Investors has completed a significant growth investment in W Services Group, a Hauppauge, New York–based provider of vendor-managed facility maintenance services. The investment will partner with W Services' existing management (Founder & CEO Matthew Whelan remains in place) to support organic growth and strategic M&A; financial terms were not disclosed.

Power Grid Components (PGC), a Blackstone portfolio company, has acquired Allied Bolt, a distributor of plant hardware for the electrical utility and telecommunications industries. Glen Malin, the former owner and current president, will resume his role as president; terms were not disclosed.

Funds advised by Apax Partners LLP announced a strategic investment to acquire Altus Fire & Life Safety, a provider of regulation‑mandated fire and life safety services in the Northeastern United States. Apax will partner with Altus management to accelerate geographic expansion, invest in sales and product capabilities, and pursue further M&A; AE Industrial Partners was the selling shareholder and Altus was advised by Lincoln International.

RESA Power, a portfolio company of Investcorp, has acquired High Voltage Electric Service, Inc. (HVES), a full-service electrical testing and commissioning firm based in Albany, New York. The add-on strengthens RESA Power’s footprint across New York’s innovation corridor and expands its field service and testing capabilities in the Capital Region.

Aurora Capital Partners has acquired GenServe, an independent provider of backup power and critical power resiliency services. Aurora intends to deploy growth capital and execute a buy-and-build strategy to expand GenServe’s geographic footprint and service offerings across healthcare, data centers, utilities and other critical infrastructure end markets.

Capital Extension Crane & Lift, a Memphis-based heavy equipment holding company, has acquired Long Island Crane & Rigging, a Westhampton Beach, New York crane rental, rigging and transportation services provider. Protegrity Advisors served as exclusive advisor to Long Island Crane & Rigging; Brad Allan will remain in his leadership role as the business becomes part of Capital Extension’s portfolio to expand its New York-area coverage.

Island Pump and Tank, a portfolio company of Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, has acquired S&W Services, Inc., a Syracuse-based provider of distribution, service, and inspection for petroleum, commercial and critical infrastructure customers. The deal expands Island Pump's footprint in Upstate New York (Syracuse and Rochester) and adds a new location in Glen Burnie, Maryland; financing was provided by Capital Southwest Corporation and Main Street Capital Corporation.

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. (NYSE: CTOS) has acquired the business of A&D Maintenance and Repair, a family-owned full-service repair facility in Wyandanch, New York. The deal adds over 20,000 square feet and expands Custom Truck's service capacity and presence on Long Island and in the greater New York City metro area.

Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co., a portfolio company of Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (together with Machinery Services Co.), acquired AC Furia Electric Motor, Inc., a White Plains, New York-based provider of electrical repair, maintenance and distribution services for motors and pumps. The deal expands Rapid Pump's service capabilities and northeast footprint; AC Furia's president, Marc Salvati, will join Rapid Pump as Vice President of Business Development and the AC Furia management team will remain in place.

Herc Rentals has acquired Albany, New York–based MAC Equipment, an independent equipment rental company with more than 20 years in business. Terms were not disclosed; C2 Advisory Group represented MAC Equipment. The deal expands Herc Rentals' presence in New York as the company now serves customers through ~400 locations and about 7,200 employees in North America.

Miller Proctor Nickolas, Inc. (MPN) has acquired Mobile Steam Boiler Rental Corp. (MSBRC), a provider of mobile rental boilers serving the New York City metro area. The deal brings rental boiler capability into MPN's service offering, expanding its market presence and enabling integrated sales, service and rental solutions across the NYC Metro area.

Relay Fire & Safety, the Riverside-backed life safety platform, has acquired Metro Fire Inspection and Maintenance Inc., a New York City-area fire protection, inspection and maintenance services provider. The deal is an add-on to Relay's platform (backed by The Riverside Company) to expand the firm's footprint into the New York metro area and broaden local service capabilities.

Alliance Laundry Systems has acquired the distribution assets of Statewide Machinery Inc., a family-owned laundry equipment distributor based in Batavia, New York. Statewide will join Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution’s East Region and retain its Batavia office as part of the company’s effort to expand its service and distribution footprint in Northern Pennsylvania and the Hudson Valley.

Tech24, a platform backed by HCI Equity Partners, acquired Pronto Repairs, a Tappan, New York–based provider of hot- and cold-side equipment management and maintenance services for hospitals and medical centers. The add-on expands Tech24’s technician coverage and healthcare capabilities in the New York City market and will enable further geographic growth and enhanced recruiting and service capacity for the combined platform.

Core & Main Inc. has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of UPSCO Inc. and two affiliated entities. The deal adds UPSCO's prefabricated meter set fabrication, distribution of pipes, valves and fittings, and HDPE fusion piping solutions to Core & Main's existing meter and fabrication capabilities to better serve utilities and contractors.

Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT) has acquired Advanced Motion Systems Inc. (AMS), a Rochester, New York-based provider of machine vision, robotics, and motion control products and engineered automation solutions. The acquisition expands Applied's automation capabilities and strengthens its footprint in the U.S. Upper Northeast; financial terms were not disclosed.

Jet Parts Engineering (a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital) has acquired Northeast Aero Compressor (NEACO), a Bohemia, New York-based aerospace component repair specialist. The add-on expands Jet Parts' PMA and DER offerings with complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical repair capabilities; Vance Street supported the transaction and Neuberger Berman provided debt financing.

Municipal Emergency Services (MES), a portfolio company of Platte River Equity, has acquired Coastal Fire Systems, Inc., a Long Island-based 3M Scott sales and service provider founded in 2005. The add-on expands MES's local sales and service capabilities on Long Island and brings additional product lines and technicians to MES's national first-responder equipment and service platform.

APPLIED Adhesives, a Minnetonka-based adhesive solutions distributor, has acquired the adhesive division of Rochester Industrial Supply Company of Rochester, New York. The transaction transfers Rochester's adhesive customers and equipment business to APPLIED, expanding APPLIED's product and service footprint and providing continuity for Rochester's customers.

AEA Investors' Small Business Private Equity team has closed the acquisition of WWE Holdings, LLC (WorldWide Electric Corporation) from Graycliff Partners LP, with rollover investment from management and employees. Headquartered in Rochester, New York, WorldWide Electric is a distributor and manufacturer of electric motors, gear reducers and motor controls; AEA plans to invest behind the company's differentiated, value-added industrial distribution model.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Briscoe Protective in New York from Novidam Capital Partners. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker’s service footprint into the NYC metro area, adding Briscoe’s fire, security and monitoring capabilities across New York City, Long Island and Westchester.

TrueSource, an OnPoint Group company, has acquired Solutions Management, Inc. (SMI), a Long Island–based provider of disaster recovery, facility maintenance and specialized cleaning services. The acquisition expands TrueSource/OnPoint's capabilities in disaster recovery and specialized cleaning for retail and grocery customers and extends its service offering and geographic coverage for national retail and property manager clients.

MSC Industrial Supply Co. (through its All Integrated Solutions subsidiary) has acquired Tower Fasteners, a Holtsville, New York-based value‑added distributor of OEM fasteners and components. Tower will continue operating under its current name with President Mark Shannon remaining in place; the business has ~100 employees and reported approximately $35 million in revenue in 2021. MSC said the deal expands its presence in the OEM fastener market, complements AIS's Midwest footprint with Tower's East Coast and Southwest locations, and is roughly neutral to MSC's fiscal 2022 earnings and slightly accretive to fiscal 2023.

AP4 Group has acquired GTC Control Solutions, a provider of control system component testing and repair headquartered in Hawthorne, New York, with additional facilities in Dubai and Bangalore. The purchase expands AP4's capabilities in control systems, automation and component repair to support its global power-plant and turbomachinery maintenance services.

Lincotek Group has acquired Hitemco, a U.S.-based specialist in thermal spray and diffusion coatings, taking 100% ownership of the Old Bethpage, New York facility. The acquisition expands Lincotek's capabilities in diffusion and thermal spray coatings and strengthens its geographic presence and service offering to aerospace, gas turbine, nuclear and defense customers in the United States.

Alro Steel has acquired Klein Steel Service, a Rochester-based metals supplier and processing center that operates six facilities in western and central New York. The acquisition expands Alro's Northeast footprint and adds Klein Steel's inventory, value-added processing and component manufacturing capabilities to Alro's distribution network. Heritage Capital Group served as exclusive financial advisor to Klein Steel; terms were not disclosed.

Air Water America Inc., the North American industrial gases arm of Japan-based Air Water Inc., has acquired Noble Gas Solutions, an independent gas and welding products distributor headquartered in Albany, New York. The acquisition expands Air Water's footprint and service capabilities in the New York tri‑state area and provides Noble Gas access to Air Water's broader product and technology offerings.

Altus Fire and Life Safety, a fire and life safety services platform owned by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, acquired Croker, a 110-year-old provider of fire, life safety, emergency preparedness and business resilience programs serving the Northeastern U.S. Croker's president Brian L. Weinstein will remain with the company and retain a minority stake; terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Altus' capabilities and scale across commercial and healthcare facilities in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Core & Main, Inc. (NYSE: CNM) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Lock City Supply Inc., a full‑service water and wastewater products distributor based in Lockport, New York. The acquisition expands Core & Main's presence in the Buffalo market and aims to better serve municipal and contractor customers with local expertise backed by Core & Main's national supply chain.

Jacksonville-based private equity firm Warren Equity Partners has acquired Simmers Crane Design & Service’s Tonawanda location along with eight additional sites. The purchase expands Warren Equity’s footprint in crane design, rental, manufacturing and maintenance services across multiple locations; financial terms were not disclosed.

Holland Pump Company, a PE-backed specialist in pump rental and dewatering solutions, has acquired Pump Service & Supply of Troy (PSS), a Troy, New York-based pump rental and services provider. The deal — Holland Pump's third since partnering with XPV Water Partners — expands Holland Pump's geographic footprint and municipal/commercial dewatering capabilities in the Northeastern United States.

Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. has acquired Rotax Metals, Inc., a Brooklyn-based distributor of copper, bronze and brass alloys. Rotax (founded 1947) generated approximately $14 million in net sales for the 12 months ended July 31, 2021 and will operate as a subsidiary of Yarde Metals, a wholly owned Reliance subsidiary; terms were not disclosed.

Cross-Fire & Security Co., a life-safety platform owned by private equity firm AE Industrial Partners, has acquired Alarm & Suppression, Inc., a fire alarm and suppression services provider based in Ballston Lake, New York. The deal is Cross-Fire's first add-on acquisition as the platform looks to expand geographic reach and service capabilities across the Northeastern U.S.; A&S owner Tom Murray will remain with the company and retain a minority stake.

Littlejohn & Co. LLC has acquired Pritchard Industries, a leading provider of recurring facility services that employs more than 10,000 people and serves over 900 clients across 24 states. Senior management led by CEO Jay Leyden will remain significant owners; Littlejohn said it will provide capital and resources to expand Pritchard's service offering, technology and geographic presence. Terms were not disclosed.

Re:Build Manufacturing has acquired Optimation Technology, Inc., a Rochester-area engineering, fabrication and factory-automation services provider. Owner Resource Group (ORG) announced the sale on October 7, 2021; Optimation’s founder Bill Pollock and the existing management team will continue to lead the business within the Re:Build platform to accelerate growth and expand capabilities.

GME Supply has completed the acquisition of Gearcor, a Conklin, New York-based supplier of FR uniforms, workwear, safety footwear, PPE and fall protection equipment. The deal expands GME's North American footprint and adds Gearcor's procurement software and a facility near Binghamton to strengthen service in the Northeastern United States.
