Partners Group acquired a significant minority stake (providing $65 million) to support product innovation, commercial expansion, and broader market access, with $39 million contributed by existing shareholders.
An affiliate of private equity firm Staple Street Capital Group, LLC has acquired Avante Health Solutions after the company exited bankruptcy. The transaction (integration to occur over 12 months) transfers a team of ten medical-business employees to KARL STORZ and brings T1V's cloud-based, low-latency visual collaboration capabilities into KARL STORZ's digital surgery ecosystem.
Caldera Medical has acquired UVision 360, the developer of the LUMINELLE hysteroscopy and cystoscopy systems, expanding its minimally invasive women's health device portfolio. The deal brings the LUMINELLE product family — including the new LUMINELLE Bx on-demand biopsy technology — into Caldera's commercial infrastructure to broaden office-based and surgical hysteroscopy capabilities.
Sanner Group, a global healthcare packaging and medical device CDMO, has acquired Gilero LLC, a Durham, North Carolina–based medical device design, development, and contract manufacturer. The acquisition broadens Sanner's end-to-end CDMO capabilities and expands its manufacturing footprint in the United States, Mexico and Ireland to better serve pharmaceutical and medtech customers.
Acme United Corporation acquired the assets of Elite First Aid, Inc., a Wake Forest, North Carolina-based supplier of tactical, trauma and emergency response products. Elite First Aid reported approximately $4.2 million of revenue in 2023; the founder and management are joining Acme United and the acquisition is expected to be accretive.
Tallayne has agreed to acquire the Nufabrx brand and its retail business unit from Textile-Based Delivery, Inc. (DBA HealthWear) to accelerate commercialization and expand product distribution across North America and select international markets. The acquisition transfers the consumer-facing Nufabrx HealthWear product line—medicated, therapeutic apparel powered by patented smart-textile technology—to Tallayne, which will scale the brand's retail presence and distribution.
RS&A, LLC (backed by Sheridan Capital Partners) completed add-on acquisitions of Summit Imaging and Avante Oncology Services (formerly Oncology Services International) to expand its national service, repair, parts and refurbishment capabilities for radiotherapy and medical imaging equipment. Solesis, an operating company backed by Altaris, has acquired Polyzen, a contract developer and manufacturer of polymer-based films, coatings, components and assemblies for the medical device and biopharmaceutical markets. Polyzen will operate as a subsidiary of Solesis, expanding Solesis' polymer film and coating capabilities to better serve medical device, bioprocessing, drug delivery and cell and gene therapy customers.
Teleflex Incorporated agreed to acquire Standard Bariatrics, Inc. for $170 million in upfront cash with up to $130 million in additional milestone-based consideration. The deal expands Teleflex's surgical portfolio with the Titan SGS powered stapling technology for sleeve gastrectomy; the acquisition was expected to close in early Q4 2022 and Standard Bariatrics' 2022 revenue was ~ $15 million.
BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has completed its acquisition of Parata Systems, a provider of pharmacy automation and medication management solutions. The deal brings Parata into BD's Medication Management Solutions business to expand BD's smart, connected care capabilities across retail, hospital and long-term care pharmacies.
Chicago-based private equity firm Sheridan Capital Partners has made a growth investment in RS&A, LLC ("RSA"), a Rural Hall, North Carolina-based independent service provider for radiotherapy equipment. RSA's founding team retained a meaningful ownership stake and will remain active in operations as Sheridan partners with the company to scale its service capabilities and national footprint.

The deal expands EPI's scientific and research capabilities to accelerate development and commercialization of Pulvinar's transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), individualized feedback stimulation, and cloud-enabled digital therapeutics.
WellAir Group Ltd. has acquired UV Innovators (UVI), the North Carolina developer of the NuvaWave handheld medical-grade UVC surface disinfection device. The deal brings UVI founders and executives into WellAir's leadership team and combines UVI's surface-disinfection technology with WellAir's air-cleaning platform to create a broader infection-control product ecosystem.
Aspen Surgical Products, a portfolio company of Audax Group, has acquired Precept Medical Products, a North Carolina–based manufacturer of nonwoven disposable protective medical apparel and surgical face masks. The deal adds roughly 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution capacity (including a facility in Agua Prieta, Mexico and warehouses in Douglas, Arizona and Richmond, Virginia) to Aspen's surgical disposables portfolio and supports increased PPE supply to U.S. customers.
General Data Company, Inc. (through its General Data Healthcare division) has acquired Triangle Biomedical Sciences, Inc., a Durham-based maker of histology instrumentation, reagents and consumables. The acquisition expands General Data Healthcare's product portfolio to offer a comprehensive set of equipment, supplies and tracking solutions to histology and pathology laboratories; financial terms were not disclosed.
