Net at Work, a North American technology advisor, acquired Boston-based BHE Consulting to strengthen its Sage and Acumatica ERP capabilities and expand delivery capacity across construction, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution verticals. BHE co-founders Greg Archambault and Russ Carey will remain with Net at Work to support client continuity and integration of BHE's solutions.

Nagarro has acquired Charles Hudson Technology Solutions (CHTS), a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based technology services firm specializing in quality engineering for digital commerce and retail. The acquisition strengthens Nagarro's US presence and expands its capabilities in quality engineering and retail/CPG digital commerce, adding CHTS's team of over 180 professionals across the US and India.

Harbor IT has acquired New England Network Solutions (NENS), a Lowell, Massachusetts-based managed service provider known for healthcare and life sciences cybersecurity and compliance expertise. The deal expands Harbor IT's Northeast presence, strengthens its healthcare specialization, and brings NENS leadership into Harbor IT's executive team as an add-on to its cyber-first managed services platform.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has acquired 100% of ListEngage, a Framingham-based Salesforce consultancy, strengthening TCS' Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and AI advisory capabilities. The acquisition adds more than 100 professionals (and 400+ Salesforce certifications) to TCS' Enterprise Solutions unit in the United States; one source reports a transaction value of $72.8 million.

Renovus Capital Partners’ portfolio company DataServ is combining with Massachusetts-based xFact to create a scaled public sector IT and digital transformation platform. The transaction brings together DataServ’s managed IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure services with xFact’s IT consulting and digital transformation capabilities to expand capabilities, geographic reach, and service offerings for education, public safety, and health and human services clients.

CMIT Solutions has acquired Wright Technology Group, a Southern Massachusetts managed service provider, to strengthen CMIT’s presence across Greater Providence and the broader New England region. Howard Wright will remain on board to ensure continuity as the regional MSP is integrated into CMIT’s national network of franchise locations.

PTP (Pinnacle Technology Partners, Inc.) has acquired Protocol Networks, a managed IT services and consulting provider focused on life sciences and healthcare. The deal expands PTP’s cloud, managed security, and IT services capabilities for biotechnology clients and integrates Protocol Networks’ team and offerings into PTP’s life-sciences-focused platform.

Atlantic, Tomorrow's Office has acquired BrainSell, a growth enablement company that provides consulting, technology implementation, and data/AI services. BrainSell will operate as a division of Atlantic to expand Atlantic's business technology consulting and digital transformation capabilities for SMBs.

Thrive, a Foxborough-based managed IT and security services provider, received a strategic investment from Berkshire Partners alongside existing investor Court Square Capital Partners; founding investor MC Partners sold its remaining stake. The transaction will support Thrive's continued organic and inorganic growth as it scales its MSP/MSSP platform; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bluewave Technology Group, a technology advisory and sourcing firm based in San Clemente, California, has acquired Comtel Group, Inc., a Needham, Massachusetts-based telecom advisory firm. Blue Mantis, a PE‑backed managed services and cybersecurity provider, has acquired Colligio, a Cisco‑focused unified communications, networking and security solutions firm headquartered in Walpole, Massachusetts. The acquisition launches a new Collaboration/Unified Communications Practice led by Colligio founder Sean Kelley and expands Blue Mantis’ collaboration, networking and Cisco capabilities across its Northeast client base.

Zaelab, a Westport-based digital transformation provider for B2B companies, has acquired Trellis, a Malden-based eCommerce and digital marketing agency. The acquisition adds Trellis’ expertise in D2C and marketplace channels plus UX and platform capabilities (Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce), broadening Zaelab’s full-service digital commerce offerings.

Amplix, a Gemspring Capital-backed technology advisory portfolio company, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Go2 Communications, a Woburn, Massachusetts-based technology advisory and software provider. The add-on strengthens Amplix’s enterprise infrastructure deployment and advisory capabilities and aims to expand services for Go2’s ~80 enterprise and SMB customers across New England and beyond.

Seacoast Capital has made its first investment from Seacoast Capital Partners V by providing equity and debt to support a majority recapitalization of Focus Technology Solutions alongside the company's management team. The financing enables a management-led recapitalization, promotes Chris Caprio to CEO, and provides working capital to support Focus's growth in managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity services.

ServicePoint, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has made a strategic investment in INNO4 LLC, a Boston-based technology integrator focused on data infrastructure, audio visual, IT services and managed services. The deal positions INNO4 to continue growing under its existing management team while expanding ServicePoint's geographic reach and service capabilities across the United States and Canada.

IT Solutions Consulting, a Philadelphia-based managed service provider, has acquired Spade Technology, an MSP headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The deal expands IT Solutions' national footprint into New England and marks the company’s eighth acquisition (third in 2023), with no financial terms disclosed.

Boston-based Roko Labs, a full-service custom software development firm, has received a growth investment from Boston private equity firm WestView Capital Partners. The capital will support Roko Labs' plans to scale its service offerings and expand its delivery footprint across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.

Ridgemont Equity Partners completed a recapitalization of smartShift, a tech-enabled provider of SAP application migration and modernization solutions. The smartShift leadership team remains in place and invested; the deal provides capital and strategic resources to accelerate product innovation, expand the recurring solution offering, and grow global sales and marketing.

Amplix, a Gemspring Capital-backed provider of technology advisory services and software, has acquired Corporate Accessories Group, LLC ("CAG"), a Belmont, Massachusetts-based full-stack mobility solutions provider. The add-on deal integrates CAG's mobility lifecycle management, wireless plan management and spend optimization capabilities into the Amplix platform to expand its mobility services offering.

424 Capital has completed a significant growth investment in PTP, a Norwood, Massachusetts-based cloud consulting and managed services firm focused on the life sciences. The capital will be used to expand PTP's capabilities and geographic presence to better serve biotechnology and therapeutics clients; Canaccord Genuity advised PTP on the transaction.

Amplix, a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, has acquired the technology advisory practice of Intervale Technologies. Intervale will continue operating its structured cabling and audio-visual businesses as a preferred partner to Amplix; the deal expands Amplix's advisory capabilities and customer reach in Massachusetts and beyond.

Gemspring Capital Management affiliate has acquired a majority interest in Amplix, a Norwood, Massachusetts-based provider of technology advisory services and software formed from the merger of ROI Communications, Blue Front Technology Group, and allConnex. Gemspring will partner with Amplix's management to scale the business, accelerate growth, and expand the company's technology advisory, managed services, cloud, and data center capabilities.

Buchanan Technologies announced the strategic acquisition and merger of Infosenseglobal's Oracle technology and applications service line into Buchanan's Applications Services business, closing on December 1, 2022. The deal expands Buchanan's Oracle ERP and application modernization capabilities, creating a combined applications and database team of over 250 professionals; 7 Mile Advisors acted as sell-side advisor to Infosenseglobal.

Synoptek has acquired Optistar Technology Consultants, the technology services division of The Vertex Companies, to expand its managed IT, cybersecurity, digital forensics and software engineering capabilities and strengthen its presence in the Northeastern United States. The deal represents a divestiture by Vertex of its Optistar technology services business and will fold the Optistar business into the Synoptek brand to accelerate regional growth and broaden service offerings.

Caltius Structured Capital completed a debt and equity investment in Kognitiv, Inc. to provide growth capital and fund a shareholder dividend. Kognitiv, a Newton, Massachusetts–based Workday consulting and managed-services provider with a proprietary scheduling tool (Rooster) and more than 150 consultants, will use the capital to scale its services and software platform.

Argano announced it has acquired ITK Solutions Group, LLC to expand its Microsoft Dynamics capabilities and industry-focused digital transformation services. The deal brings ITK’s Microsoft Dynamics implementation and industry expertise (retail/e‑commerce, nonprofit/NGO, and professional services) into Argano’s Microsoft practice to broaden service offerings and client reach.

Tenex Capital Management completed a majority investment in Network Coverage, a cloud-first managed services provider headquartered in Danvers, Massachusetts. The transaction closed on September 28, 2022, and Tenex will partner with Network Coverage's management to scale the company's cloud and managed IT services for mid-market enterprise customers.

Ensono has acquired AndPlus to expand its cloud native development and data engineering capabilities, integrating AndPlus into Ensono Digital to enhance application modernization, SRE, DevSecOps and data engineering services. The deal strengthens Ensono's position in delivering end-to-end cloud transformation services to large enterprise clients; financial terms were not disclosed.

ASGN Incorporated has closed its acquisition of GlideFast Consulting LLC for $350 million in cash. GlideFast will join ASGN's Apex Consulting Services within the Commercial Segment, bringing ServiceNow implementation capabilities and expected 2022 revenue of about $95 million to support cross-selling across ASGN's large account base.

Addison Group has acquired ArcLight Consulting, a Burlington, Massachusetts-based provider of Oracle HCM Cloud implementation and support services. The deal expands Addison Group's technology consulting capabilities and service offerings in Oracle Cloud HCM, while ArcLight will retain its headquarters and leadership team.

SMART Global Holdings, Inc. (SGH) has acquired Stratus Technologies from affiliates of Siris Capital Group for $225 million in cash plus an earn-out of up to $50 million based on post-close gross profit performance. Stratus will operate within SGH's Intelligent Platform Solutions group, with Dave Laurello continuing to lead the business and support SGH's expansion of high-availability Edge, Core, and Cloud computing offerings.

ICS, a portfolio company of ClearLight Partners, has acquired Unified Networking Solutions (UNS), a Raynham, Massachusetts-based provider of managed IT services, hardware/software procurement and implementation. The transaction expands ICS's Northeastern footprint and adds local government, education and commercial clients and capabilities to its managed services offering.

Magna5, a national managed IT and cybersecurity provider and a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired Boston-based TCG Network Services. The deal — facilitated by ITX — expands Magna5’s managed IT, cybersecurity and cloud capabilities while allowing TCG’s regional team to leverage Magna5’s broader resources.

The TNS Group, a managed IT services provider with offices in New York City and Stamford, Connecticut, has acquired ThinkTech Computers, an IT services firm based in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands TNS's footprint across Massachusetts and Rhode Island and brings ThinkTech's employees and technical capabilities into the TNS organization to support regional growth.

Magna5, a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired Boston-based TCG Network Services to expand its managed IT, cybersecurity and cloud services capabilities. The deal strengthens Magna5’s regional service footprint and augments its cybersecurity, data recovery and cloud offerings for mid-market and enterprise customers.

ACCSCIENT, LLC, a subsidiary of FutureTech Holding Company (FTH), has acquired IntraSystems, Inc., a provider of IT infrastructure, virtualization, security, and cloud solutions. The acquisition is intended to expand ACCSCIENT's managed services, cloud and infrastructure capabilities as part of FTH's strategy to build a broader IT platform.

ConvergeOne, a services-led cloud technology solution provider headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, acquired Integration Partners Corporation, a Lexington, Massachusetts-based team that designs and implements collaboration, networking, data center and cybersecurity solutions. The deal expands ConvergeOne's presence in New England and the Midwest and integrates Integration Partners' engineering and managed services capabilities with ConvergeOne's cloud and collaboration offerings.

Accenture acquired ClearEdge Partners, a Boston-area firm specializing in procurement spend management and software asset management, to strengthen its IT spend and procurement capabilities and integrate those services with Accenture's SynOps platform. Terms were not disclosed; ClearEdge brings roughly 100 professionals and proprietary methodologies to Accenture Operations.

Norwest Equity Partners (NEP) has acquired Coretelligent, a Westwood, Massachusetts-based managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud services provider. VSS Capital Partners sold the company but will remain a minority investor; financial terms were not disclosed. NEP intends to partner with founder and CEO Kevin Routhier to scale Coretelligent organically and through strategic acquisitions.

WillowTree has acquired Maark, a Boston-based digital transformation agency specializing in Adobe Experience Cloud, to bolster its Adobe Experience Cloud capabilities and expand its digital strategy, design, and engineering capacity. Insignia Capital — WillowTree's private equity partner since 2018 — is the lead investor in the combined company.

Park Place Technologies has acquired the third-party hardware maintenance, data migration services and new hardware sales assets from Congruity360. The asset purchase expands Park Place’s professional services and data migration capabilities for enterprise customers while Congruity360 retains its information governance and software business.

Cerberus Capital Management has acquired Source Code Holdings from affiliates of JMC Capital Partners. Source Code, a Milford, Massachusetts-based provider of high-performance computing hardware, edge computing solutions, and IT managed services, will continue to be led by founder and CEO Arthur Ataie as Cerberus invests to scale the company’s engineering, edge-to-cloud capabilities and expand into new geographies and verticals.

The Judge Group has acquired Copley Consulting Group, a Woburn, Massachusetts-based provider of ERP and business intelligence (BI) services with expertise in Infor and Qlik. The deal expands Judge's technology consulting capabilities in ERP and analytics and strengthens its presence in the manufacturing and regulated (FDA) and public sector markets.

Quad-C Management completed a majority recapitalization of Apps Associates, an enterprise application services provider headquartered in Acton, Massachusetts. The transaction transfers ownership from BV Investment Partners to Quad-C, which plans to expand Apps Associates' service offerings and geographic footprint and appointed Larry Jones as chairman of the board.

Rizing, a portfolio company of One Equity Partners, has acquired attune Consulting, an SAP S/4HANA partner focused on the fashion and lifestyle industries. The deal expands Rizing's global SAP S/4HANA cloud portfolio and consumer industries capabilities — adding attune's ~500 employees, industry-specific accelerators and expanded coverage across fashion, retail, wholesale and e-commerce markets.

Business Integra Technology Solutions has acquired Aquila Technology Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zensar Technologies Inc., strengthening Business Integra’s capabilities and presence in the U.S. national security and government IT market. The deal, announced April 2, 2021, was advised by FOCUS Investment Banking and transfers Aquila’s government-focused IT and engineering services to Business Integra.

projekt202 announced the acquisition of Boston-based ADK Group to combine ADK's web and UX expertise with projekt202's (and portfolio company Big Nerd Ranch's) digital product and mobile development capabilities. Big Nerd Ranch will work alongside ADK within the projekt202 family to expand offerings—particularly in digital health, web development and customer experience services.

UK-based Invenio Business Solutions has merged with / acquired US-based LSI Consulting to create an expanded global SAP services organisation. The combined business will operate as a single entity (retaining brands), creating pro forma revenues north of $100m and more than 1,000 employees, with backing from investor BGF and financing support for the deal.

Abry Partners has made a majority investment to acquire CloudWave (Park Place International LLC d/b/a CloudWave) from WestView Capital Partners. CloudWave, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, is a healthcare-focused cloud and managed services provider for hospitals; Abry will support the company's continued growth while management remains in place.
