Technology Management Concepts (TMC), a Microsoft-focused consulting firm based in El Segundo, California, has acquired The TM Group (TMG), an ERP/CRM consulting firm headquartered in Novi, Michigan. The acquisition expands TMC's Microsoft ERP, CRM, Power Platform, cloud, data, automation, and AI capabilities and adds TMG's ERP expertise and long-standing customer relationships to TMC's bench.

New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of Oval Partners, has added Michigan-based NetSource One to its platform as an add-on acquisition. NetSource One — which supports 700+ clients and brings more than 75 employees — will continue operating under existing leadership and strengthen New Charter’s capabilities in regulated industries and security-first services.

Park Place Technologies has completed a merger with Service Express to form a global leader in data center and IT infrastructure services, operating under the Park Place Technologies name with global headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. The combined company serves more than 20,000 customers, has over 3,000 employees worldwide, and aims to expand capabilities across traditional, cloud, and AI-accelerated environments.

Thrive, a PE-backed global technology outsourcing provider, has acquired Worksighted, a Holland, Michigan–based managed IT services firm. The deal expands Thrive’s Midwest presence and adds Worksighted’s personalized MSP, cybersecurity, and cloud capabilities to Thrive’s platform as an add-on acquisition.

Daisy, a national home and small business technology installation and services company, has acquired Automation Design + Entertainment, an award-winning smart-home and AV integrator based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The deal establishes Daisy's first branch in Michigan and expands its Midwest footprint while allowing founder Peter Cook to remain in leadership.

Centaris, a Michigan-based managed IT services provider, has acquired Hi-Tech System Service, Inc., a Casco, Michigan firm that serves businesses, schools, and municipalities. The deal expands Centaris' regional footprint and technical capabilities while integrating Hi-Tech's team to ensure continuity of service for existing clients.

Emoeba Group has acquired Traction Consulting Group, a CRM and ERP solutions provider founded in 1999. The transaction, facilitated by IT ExchangeNet, brings Traction's Microsoft, Salesforce and Odoo expertise into Emoeba's roll-up strategy to expand its digital transformation and consulting capabilities.

Thrive, a global MSP/MSSP, has acquired Safety Net, a Michigan-based IT services firm, to establish a Midwest regional presence and extend Safety Net customers access to Thrive’s global SOC and hybrid cloud capabilities. The deal expands Thrive’s geographic footprint and service offerings while preserving high-touch managed services for Safety Net's clients.

CoreX, a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired ITS Partners, an Elite ServiceNow partner based in Michigan, to expand CoreX’s ServiceNow functional capabilities across Operational Technology, IT Asset Management, SecOps and managed services. The add‑on deal accelerates CoreX’s industry verticalization and global expansion plans and was announced as the first of multiple acquisitions planned to grow the platform.

Warburg Pincus has completed a growth investment/acquisition of Service Express from Harvest Partners. Service Express, a Grand Rapids-based provider of third-party data center maintenance and managed infrastructure services, will continue to be led by CEO Ron Alvesteffer and use the investment to support geographic expansion, go-to-market initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

New Charter Technologies, a PE-backed MSP platform, has acquired Ann Arbor-based managed services provider Dynamic Edge. The add-on deal—backed by Oval Partners—expands New Charter's geographic footprint and broadens its managed IT, cybersecurity, and application development capabilities to better serve clients across finance, healthcare, manufacturing and other industries.

Secur-Serv, the managed services division of Transom Capital-backed Scantron Corporation, has acquired Michigan-based managed service provider C-Net Systems. The add-on expands Secur-Serv's Midwest footprint and enhances its managed IT and cybersecurity capabilities for SMB customers.

TPG has signed a definitive agreement to make a majority investment in Altimetrik through its TPG Asia private equity platform. The partnership will support Altimetrik's growth and capability expansion in cloud, data and AI services as the company — led by CEO Raj Sundaresan and backed by founder Raj Vattikuti — pursues $1 billion in annual revenue within three years.

Turnout Industries, a Chicago-based diversified holding company, has acquired Dewpoint, an IT services firm headquartered in Lansing, Michigan. Dewpoint will continue operating under its current brand and leadership as Turnout leverages the business to expand its IT solutions capabilities and support growth across government, financial services, healthcare and other end markets.

Plano, Texas-based MSP consolidator The 20 MSP has acquired the managed IT services division of Data Tech Café, a Detroit-based IT provider. The deal is an add-on acquisition to The 20's ongoing roll-up strategy; financial terms were not disclosed.

K2 Partnering Solutions acquired Openlogix, a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based technology consulting firm specializing in Salesforce, MuleSoft and enterprise application integration. The deal expands K2’s delivery capabilities and global footprint, accelerating Openlogix’s market expansion across North America and other regions while enhancing K2’s enterprise application and digital transformation offerings.

The deal adds DS Tech's managed IT, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, voice and cloud hosting capabilities to New Charter's MSP platform while keeping DS Tech's leadership and headquarters in place.

Cloud Equity Group-backed Brightworks IT has acquired Key Technology Solutions, a Michigan-based managed service provider (MSP). The deal is an add-on acquisition as part of Cloud Equity Group and Brightworks IT's roll-up strategy to consolidate managed IT services firms, expand geographic coverage, and strengthen technical capabilities.

Xebia has acquired Netlink Digital Solutions Group (NDS) from Netlink Software Group America to strengthen its low-code and OutSystems capabilities. The deal expands Xebia's end-to-end digital transformation, managed services and OutSystems practice to support enterprise customers globally.

Service Express, a Grand Rapids-based data center and infrastructure solutions provider, acquired managed services provider iTech Solutions Group and cloud hosting provider iInTheCloud to expand its IBM i managed services and cloud hosting capabilities in the U.S. The deals (announced July 5, 2022) broaden Service Express’s IBM Power/IBM i offerings and accelerate its managed and infrastructure services growth domestically and internationally.

Valeo Networks, a Rockledge, Florida-based Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), has acquired Next I.T., a Michigan-based Managed Service Provider (MSP). The acquisition (terms not disclosed) expands Valeo's national MSSP footprint in the Midwest; Next I.T. will continue operating as DBA Next I.T. with offices in Muskegon, Kalamazoo, and Traverse City.

NTT DATA has acquired Vectorform, a Royal Oak, Michigan-based digital transformation and innovation firm, adding roughly 80 team members to its consulting and digital transformation business. The acquisition expands NTT DATA's digital engineering, design thinking, customer experience and product development capabilities across industries such as automotive, energy and manufacturing.

Managed services provider VC3 acquired I.T. Right, Inc., a Michigan-based network consultant for local governments, in a transaction that closed on November 9, 2021. The deal brings I.T. Right’s municipal-focused capabilities and client relationships into VC3’s larger government-focused MSP platform to expand geographic coverage and cybersecurity/service offerings for municipalities.

Comstar Technologies has acquired Technology Solutions, LLC, a Livonia, Michigan-based provider of IP telephony and managed IT services. The acquisition expands Comstar's Midwest footprint and broadens Technology Solutions' solutions portfolio; Technology Solutions will continue operating under its name for the remainder of 2021 while the combined teams integrate and Comstar opens a local location in early 2022.

VSS Capital Partners completed a growth investment in Centroid Systems Inc., a Troy, Michigan-based provider of managed cloud services and enterprise workload consulting with deep Oracle expertise. The capital will support Centroid’s organic growth and identified add-on acquisition opportunities to expand its managed services, digital transformation, analytics and public cloud capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Riverside Partners-backed portfolio company Convergence Networks / Grade A has merged with Application Specialist Kompany (ASK), a Lansing, Michigan-based provider of managed IT and cybersecurity services. The deal brings ASK's team and regional market presence into the Convergence Networks / Grade A platform to expand the combined company's capabilities and Midwest footprint.

Wolf Consulting, backed by Evergreen Services Group, has acquired Xpert Technologies, a full-service IT provider specializing in managed services, VoIP, data center services and cybersecurity. Xpert, founded in 1998 and operating primarily in the Detroit, Michigan area, will continue to operate independently while receiving support from Wolf Consulting; terms were not disclosed.

Funds managed by Harvest Partners have acquired Service Express, a Grand Rapids-based provider of post-warranty data center equipment maintenance services, from Pamlico Capital. Service Express' management, led by CEO Ron Alvesteffer, will remain significant owners as Harvest provides capital and strategic resources to accelerate geographic expansion and market penetration.
