IT Services Acquisitions in Oklahoma

Houston-based Centre Technologies has acquired Tulsa-based IT services provider hummingbird.tech. The deal expands Centre's managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity offerings into Oklahoma, bringing hummingbird.tech's local client relationships and technical team into Centre's broader service platform.

Pinnacle Technology Solutions (PTS), a U.S. hybrid IT solutions provider based in Asheville, North Carolina, has acquired Pinnacle Business Systems (PBS) of Edmond, Oklahoma. PBS will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of PTS, expanding PTS’s managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and systems-integration capabilities and creating a networked platform of reseller partners.

Centre Technologies, a Texas-based managed IT services provider, has acquired NetLink Solutions, a Broken Arrow/Tulsa-area IT services firm. The transaction expands Centre's footprint into Oklahoma and brings NetLink's team and local customer base into Centre's managed services, cybersecurity, and cloud offerings.

The 20 MSP has acquired Oklahoma-based managed service provider Integrated Business Technologies (IBT) and will fold IBT into its national MSP growth platform. The acquisition builds on an existing partnership to expand The 20's footprint in the Tulsa/Oklahoma City market and enhance service capabilities for small and medium-sized business clients.

Bridgepointe Technologies, backed by Charlesbank Capital Partners, has acquired PPT Solutions to expand its customer experience (CX) consulting and contact-center capabilities. PPT Solutions — a CX and contact-center consulting and managed services provider with ~55 employees — will operate as a Bridgepointe company to broaden Bridgepointe's tech advisory and managed services offering.

NuMSP, a national managed service provider, has acquired Realize Information Technology, a Tulsa-based full-service MSP that serves small and mid-sized businesses. The deal marks NuMSP's 16th acquisition and expands its presence into the Tulsa, Oklahoma market while integrating Realize's team led by founder Jeff Woods.

Houston-based Sierra Digital has acquired Stonebridge Consulting, a privately held technology solutions provider to the energy sector. The deal combines Sierra's automation, analytics and cloud capabilities with Stonebridge's energy-focused solution accelerators to expand delivery capacity and product/service offerings; terms were not disclosed.

TTEC Holdings, Inc. agreed to acquire VoiceFoundry, a global Amazon Web Services partner that specializes in Amazon Connect deployments and conversational AI. The U.S. and European portions of the deal closed immediately (with Australian and ASEAN regions pending approvals), adding Amazon Connect capabilities to TTEC’s Humanify Cloud and expanding TTEC Digital’s managed services and cloud contact center offerings.

Rogers, Arkansas-based TeleComp Holdings, Inc. acquired Cushing, Oklahoma-based Beasley Technology, Inc., completing the transaction on November 14, 2019. The acquisition expands TeleComp's engineering, installation and NOC capabilities, roughly doubles its headcount to 100+ employees and strengthens its cloud telephone and managed IT service offerings.

Denver-based ERP consulting and software firm Njevity, Inc. has acquired Advanced Integrators, a Microsoft Dynamics GP consulting group based in Oklahoma City. The deal brings Advanced Integrators' staff (including former owner Windi Epperson) into Njevity to expand Dynamics GP implementation, support and hosted PowerGP Online capabilities for SMB customers.

CGI Group Inc. acquired retail-technology consultant Netplex Retail Group and electronic solutions provider Myriap for C$9.7 million (about US$14.9 million). The purchases are intended to deepen CGI's retail sector capabilities; several Netplex executives (including former president Robert Barcum) joined CGI in leadership roles following the deal.
