Pyxl, a full-service digital agency based in Charleston, South Carolina, has acquired HOOK, a twenty-year award-winning creative agency. The acquisition preserves HOOK's brand and leadership while combining its creative capabilities with Pyxl's digital, performance marketing, and engineering services to better serve clients across the U.S. and Europe.

ISPN, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, acquired two core business lines from DxTEL: DxTEL Marketing Services and the Harper content platform. The add-on expands ISPN’s marketing capabilities and content library to better serve community-focused broadband service providers and brings DxTEL co-founder Eddie Andrews into ISPN as VP of Marketing Services.

Full-service digital agency Pyxl has acquired Cobble Hill, a Charleston-based digital marketing agency. The acquisition expands Pyxl’s lead generation, creative services, and global delivery capabilities while allowing Cobble Hill to retain its brand and Charleston-based team.

The deal brings NextScent’s patented Ventus air-care system and executive team into Aroma360’s portfolio to support multi-location businesses, hotels, casinos and other large venues worldwide.

GMB, a Michigan-based architecture and engineering firm focused on the education sector, has acquired Up&Up, a Greenville, South Carolina marketing communications agency specializing in higher education. The deal expands GMB’s capabilities in branding and enrollment marketing while broadening both firms’ education-focused service offerings. TobinLeff advised Up&Up on the sale.

Independent performance marketing agency Wpromote has acquired Visiture, an Atlanta- and Charleston-based e-commerce agency, to expand its e-commerce development, SEO and paid media capabilities and deepen partnerships with platforms like Adobe and Shopify. The deal gives Wpromote a larger footprint in the U.S. Southeast and adds Visiture's web development and storefront expertise to Wpromote’s service offerings.

Publicus Community has acquired Real Living Productions, the in-house creative and marketing operations agency that worked with IMI Worldwide Properties. The acquisition expands Publicus's capabilities in resort, real estate and hospitality marketing and combines operations in Raleigh, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina under a refreshed Real Living Productions brand.
