Packaging Acquisitions in Arizona

Flexpak, LLC, a Shorehill Capital portfolio company, completed the acquisition of ACE Packaging of AZ on July 1, 2022. ACE, a Phoenix-based value-added distributor of corrugated boxes, stretch film, foam and polybags, will continue operating with former owners Mark Lundberg and Kevin Aldridge in ongoing roles as Flexpak expands its geographic presence into Arizona.

GenNx360 Capital Partners portfolio company B2B Industrial Packaging has acquired Pioneer Packaging Worldwide, a Phoenix-based provider of custom packaging solutions. The deal is B2B's fifth add-on since GenNx360's investment in October 2020 and expands B2B's product and service footprint in industrial, retail and moving/storage end markets.

Olympus Partners has led a growth equity investment in Footprint International Holdco, Inc., a Gilbert, Arizona–based materials science company that makes plant-based, sustainable packaging for major packaged food producers, grocery retailers and QSRs. The capital will support Footprint’s expansion of manufacturing capacity and operations in North America and Europe to meet growing customer demand for recyclable, plant-based packaging alternatives.

Liberty Diversified International (LDI), a Minneapolis-based, family-owned packaging and manufacturing group, acquired Preferred Packaging and Crating, Inc., a Phoenix-based manufacturer of corrugated, wood and foam packaging. Preferred Packaging will operate under its existing brand and join LDI's Packaging South Group, with co-owners Mike and Andi Eagleton remaining with the business to provide continuity.
