Packaging Acquisitions in Virginia

Fortis Solutions Group, a portfolio company of funds managed by Harvest Partners, acquired the Print Division of MASA Corporation, including an additional print facility in Decatur, Alabama. The add-on expands Fortis's label and printed packaging capabilities and geographic footprint; terms were not disclosed.

Harvest Partners, along with Fortis management, has acquired Fortis Solutions Group from Main Post Partners. Fortis, a Virginia Beach–based specialty packaging and label converter with over 950 employees across 15 sites, will continue to be led by founder and CEO John Wynne and will pursue organic growth and tuck-in acquisitions with Harvest's support.

Baltimore-based Orlando Products, Inc. has acquired Absolute Packaging, LLC, a Springfield, Virginia packaging manufacturer. The acquisition adds manufacturing capacity and expands Orlando Products' presence in the Northern Virginia market; Craig Butler, owner of Absolute Packaging, will join the Orlando Products team.
