Power Grid Components (PGC), a Blackstone portfolio company, has acquired Elliott Industries, a custom manufacturer of electrical equipment based in Bossier City, Louisiana. The acquisition is an add-on to PGC's power distribution portfolio and will preserve the Elliott brand while leveraging PGC's resources to drive growth and product innovation.

Sonic Automotive, Inc. has acquired Audi New Orleans, a franchised Audi dealership located in Metairie, Louisiana, from the Bohn Brothers Automotive Group. The deal marks Sonic's first franchise automotive location in Louisiana, expands its Audi footprint to 10 dealerships and brings its total franchise portfolio to 108 locations nationwide.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety acquired United Automation, a fire and security systems integrator with three Louisiana locations in West Monroe, Shreveport and Alexandria. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker's full-service life safety and security capabilities in Louisiana, adding expertise in alarms, access control, video surveillance and systems automation.

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Premier Steel Doors and Frames, a Monroe, Louisiana-based manufacturer of hollow metal doors and frames, metal building door systems, and aluminium windows. Premier has about 90 employees and reported approximately $40 million in sales for 2023; ASSA ABLOY says the acquisition strengthens its product portfolio and presence in the southern US and will be accretive to EPS.

Selerix, a McKinney, Texas–based provider of cloud benefits administration, has acquired SyncStream Solutions, a pioneer in Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting technology. The acquisition combines Selerix's benefits platform and customer service capabilities with SyncStream's ACA reporting and advisory expertise to create an end-to-end ACA solution for employers, brokers, carriers, and staffing/PEO providers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) has acquired Kay Radio & Electronics Services, Inc. (d/b/a Kay Radio), an authorized Motorola dealer and communications solutions provider based in Alexandria, Louisiana. The acquisition expands MCA’s national footprint into central Louisiana and eastern Texas and brings Kay Radio’s service capabilities and customer relationships into MCA’s network of solution centers.

White Cap has acquired Midstream Supply & Rental, a Shreveport, Louisiana-based distributor of concrete accessories, erosion control, safety products, and rental equipment. The acquisition expands White Cap’s rental operations and value-added services in its Central Region to better serve non-residential and infrastructure contractors.

United Real Estate | Partners, an affiliate of United Real Estate, has merged with Real Estate Resource Group to expand its presence in the Greater New Orleans market. The combined operations now cover three offices (New Orleans, Metairie and Mandeville) and bring nearly 200 agents under the United banner, enhancing agent support, marketing and technology resources.

PS Logistics announced that its subsidiary Blair Logistics has acquired Fluker Transportation, a founder-owned flatbed and heavy-haul trucking company based in Hammond, Louisiana. The acquisition will fold Fluker into Blair Logistics to expand flatbed/heavy-haul capacity and geographic coverage across the southeastern United States; financial terms were not disclosed.

Accel Entertainment completed the acquisition of an 85% ownership interest in Toucan Gaming, LLC and LSM Gaming, LLC (collectively "Toucan") for approximately $40 million. The deal expands Accel's footprint into Louisiana — adding 13 truck stop locations (450 terminals) and 60 three-machine locations (180 terminals) — and leaves Stan Guidroz with a 15% interest as CEO to lead the combined business.

The Hilb Group announced it acquired an unnamed Louisiana-based property and casualty business effective November 1, 2024. The transaction is an add-on acquisition that expands Hilb Group’s property & casualty presence across Louisiana and the surrounding region; Hilb Group is a Carlyle Group portfolio company.

Sciens Building Solutions, a Carlyle-backed fire and life safety platform, has acquired Educational Electronics, a New Orleans-area fire alarm and security systems provider with locations in Harahan and Abita Springs, Louisiana. The deal expands Sciens' geographic footprint into the New Orleans market and brings the platform's service suite and capabilities to local education, multi-family, healthcare, commercial and government customers.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired DACSIS, a fire suppression and fire alarm systems integrator based in Scott, Louisiana. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker's Gulf Coast footprint and augments its life-safety and integrated fire protection capabilities for commercial and industrial customers.

Solis Mammography has acquired Breast Center of Acadiana, adding the practice's two breast imaging locations in Lafayette and Youngsville, Louisiana to its national network. The deal expands Solis's footprint into its 18th major market as the private equity-backed operator continues consolidating specialized breast imaging centers.

Alera Group, a national insurance and financial services firm, announced the acquisition of Insurance Underwriters Ltd. (IUL), an independent insurance agency offering business insurance, surety bonds, personal insurance and employee benefits. The deal is intended to strengthen Alera Group's property & casualty, surety and employee benefits presence in the south-central U.S.; terms were not disclosed.

TobinLeff advised BBR Creative on a management buyout in which members of the agency's management team purchased the business from co-founder and CEO Cherie Hebert. The transaction enables Hebert to monetize her ownership and implement a succession plan while keeping the agency's operations and legacy in-house.

Xenspire Group, a Massachusetts-based staffing provider led by CEO Ram Konduru, acquired OneSource Professional Search LLC, a Mandeville, Louisiana-based technical and financial search firm focused on the oil and gas industry. The deal closed Sept. 6 (announced Sept. 16) as OneSource owners pursued full retirement; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition represents a strategic and geographic expansion for Xenspire.

Twist Brands LLC, the parent company of Painting with a Twist, has acquired Pinot's Palette, a paint-and-sip concept with 69 studios across the United States and Canada. Pinot's Palette will continue to operate as a separate brand while Twist Brands expects to realize operational synergies, share best practices, and strengthen its leadership position in the arts & crafts-as-entertainment sector.

Spectrum Water Technology (Spectrum Biotechnologies, LLC) has acquired AFCO 360, LLC, a Lake Charles, Louisiana–based provider of industrial wastewater treatment equipment, chemicals and services. The deal expands Spectrum's capabilities and footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast while AFCO's leadership will remain with the combined business and retain an ownership stake.

Waring Oil Company LLC acquired Lavigne Oil Company of Baton Rouge LLC, effective Aug. 26, expanding Waring’s geographic footprint into Louisiana. The deal transfers Lavigne’s fuel tanks to Waring, keeps Kevin Cutrer on as an outside salesperson, and broadens Waring’s wholesale fuels, lubricants and DEF service capabilities.

Five Star Breaktime Solutions has acquired Cajun Vending of Houma LLC, a family-owned vending and office coffee service operator based in Houma, Louisiana. The deal expands Five Star's presence across Louisiana's bayou country and brings Cajun Vending's leadership (including Derek Franklin) into Five Star to ensure a seamless transition for customers.

Integrity Elevator Solutions (IES) has acquired Stratos Elevator, expanding IES’s footprint into the Baton Rouge, Louisiana market. The acquisition adds certified technicians and elevator installation, modernization, maintenance and repair capabilities to IES’s existing Texas and Louisiana operations while maintaining continuity of service for Stratos customers.

Crane 1 Services, a platform backed by L Squared Capital Partners, has acquired Standard Crane & Hoist LLC, a regional provider of overhead crane sales, service, inspection, and repairs with eight locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The add-on will expand Crane 1's service footprint in the southern United States, adding nearly 100 employees and deeper technical capabilities to support geographic and capability growth.

Vivace International Corporation, a New Orleans–based manufacturer of specialty propulsion tanks for space and defense applications, received a growth capital investment from an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management. The funding will support Vivace's work on national security programs and help scale its engineering and manufacturing capabilities for U.S. spaceflight, hypersonics, and launch vehicle markets.

NFP, an Aon company, has acquired Southern Insurance Agency LLC (SIA), a New Orleans-based commercial property and casualty broker. Founder Louis Faust will join NFP as a senior vice president, and the deal expands NFP’s commercial P&C capabilities and presence in the New Orleans area and across Louisiana.

Hub International Limited announced it has acquired the assets of Swanson Insurance Agency, Inc. and Swanson & Associates, Inc., a locally owned independent insurance agency serving the New Orleans area. The Swanson team will join Hub Gulf South to strengthen Hub’s personal and commercial insurance capabilities in Louisiana; terms were not disclosed.

SkyKnight Capital has made a growth investment in Ampirical Solutions to support the company's expansion of engineering services and software offerings for the power industry. Ampirical's founders and management will remain significant shareholders and will launch a broad-based employee ownership program as the company scales.

SLG Staffing (part of SLG Investment Holdings) acquired the Baton Rouge, Louisiana franchise office of Snelling Staffing (locally known as Snelling Industrial, formerly Link Staffing) and the staffing assets of KLS Inc. The deal expands SLG's local footprint in Baton Rouge and represents the 11th acquisition for parent company SLG Investment Holdings, according to CEO Sharon Gordon.

Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators has acquired McKenzie Pest Control, a full-service pest and termite control company headquartered in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The deal represents Arrow's first location in Louisiana and will see McKenzie operate as Stark Exterminators while the McKenzie team members remain with Arrow.

Atwell, a national consulting, engineering and construction services firm, has acquired Hydro Consultants, a Baton Rouge-based surveying, engineering and mapping company. The acquisition expands Atwell’s surveying capabilities and its geographic footprint in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast; terms were not disclosed.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Brightspeed Security Systems, a Monroe, Louisiana-based provider of fire alarm, detection, security and video surveillance services, from Brightspeed. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker's service coverage into Arkansas and northern Louisiana and retains local leadership with Brightspeed branch manager Cassandra Ivy continuing to lead operations.

Storable has acquired StorageAuctions.com, an online marketplace for self-storage unit auctions, integrating its auction services to create an end-to-end delinquency management solution for self-storage operators. The deal, finalized June 4, 2024, will have StorageAuctions.com operate as a division of Storable and is intended to streamline auction workflows and improve unit recovery and re-rental efficiency.

Greater Sum Ventures (GSV), an entrepreneurial family office and growth equity investor, has acquired Kologik, a Baton Rouge–based provider of cloud-based public safety software. The investment adds Kologik to GSV's growing platform of public safety technology companies and will provide capital to expand its cloud solutions including computer-aided dispatch, records management, jail management, and the COPsync mobile information network.

ALKEME, a Top 40 insurance brokerage based in Ladera Ranch, California, has acquired Hardwick Insurance, a commercial and personal insurance specialist in Lafayette, Louisiana. The acquisition expands ALKEME's footprint in the Southern United States and adds Hardwick's niche expertise in insuring religious organizations to ALKEME's platform.

PosiGen received an additional $150 million commitment from a direct lending infrastructure fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management, bringing Brookfield's total funding commitment to $400 million. The growth capital injection provides working capital to scale PosiGen's residential solar and energy-efficiency programs for underserved U.S. homeowners.

Genefic, the healthcare subsidiary of Dalrada Financial Corporation, has acquired IV Services, LLC, an infusion pharmacy and infusion management provider based in Gretna, Louisiana. The acquisition expands Genefic’s specialty pharmacy capabilities and regional footprint (Louisiana and Mississippi), adding payor contracts and patient volumes as the company enters the infusion pharmacy management market.

PromptCare has acquired Louisiana-based Coastal Infusion Services, adding the provider’s at-home infusion capabilities and six ambulatory infusion suites to PromptCare’s national specialty pharmacy and infusion platform. The deal expands PromptCare’s footprint in the southern U.S. and enhances its specialty pharmacy and infusion service offering for patients with chronic and rare conditions.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired ADS Systems, a Kenner, Louisiana-based provider of fire alarm and security systems, to expand its security and alarm services along the Gulf Coast. ADS Systems will continue serving Louisiana customers as part of Pye-Barker’s nationwide life safety and security platform.

Ntiva, a PE-backed managed IT services provider, has acquired The Purple Guys from Kian Capital Partners (with co-investor ParkSouth Ventures) to create one of the largest pure-play MSPs serving SMBs across the U.S. The deal combines Ntiva's nationwide footprint with The Purple Guys' regional scale and capabilities across the Central and Southern U.S., expanding managed services, cybersecurity and cloud offerings to over 2,000 clients.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher) has acquired Metairie, Louisiana-based Fontenelle & Goodreau Insurance, LLC. The acquisition expands Gallagher's commercial property/casualty capabilities—particularly in the large apartment (multifamily) market—with the Fontenelle & Goodreau team remaining in place under Gallagher's Southeast retail P/C leadership.

Facilities Maintenance Management (FMM) has acquired New Orleans-based HGI Facility Management, strengthening FMM's presence in the New Orleans market and across the Gulf South. The deal brings HGI's management team into FMM as Senior Asset Managers and expands FMM's service footprint across commercial end markets including financial institutions, hospitality, and education.

Custom Truck One Source, a Kansas City–based provider of specialty truck equipment, rentals and services, has acquired SOS Fleet Services, a full-service repair facility in Alexandria, Louisiana. The acquisition adds more than 30,000 sq. ft. of service space and expands Custom Truck's Gulf States footprint, increasing its branch network and enabling local repair and rental support for regional customers.

Aurora Capital Partners completed a recapitalization of PSC Group with TJC, LP; Aurora has reinvested alongside TJC. PSC Group, an embedded logistics provider serving the petrochemical industry with rail, truck and marine logistics plus railcar repair and storage, operates across North America with more than 4,500 employees at 150+ sites.

Elevator Service LLC (ESI), a Grand Rapids-based elevator service platform, has acquired Bounds Elevator, an independent service provider in the New Orleans market, from founder Tim Bounds. The deal — completed with financial backing from Greenwich-based family office Carroll Capital and debt financing from BMO — is an add-on to ESI's platform to strengthen its presence in Southern Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Align Capital Partners has formed a specialty tax consulting platform through a control investment in Cost Segregation Services, Inc. (CSSI) and supported CSSI’s acquisition of TaxIncennovations, LLC. The combined platform expands service offerings to include cost segregation studies, R&D tax credits and energy-efficiency tax credit consulting as ACP plans further add-on acquisitions to grow the business.

Waste Pro USA, Inc. has acquired Workbox, LLC, a Port Allen, Louisiana-based provider of roll-off, portable sanitation, and waste services. Workbox founder and CEO Martin Padial and his staff will remain with the business to ensure continuity of service as Waste Pro’s Louisiana divisions integrate the customers and operations.

Hawkins, Inc. (Nasdaq: HWKN) has completed the acquisition of Industrial Research Corporation, a distributor of water treatment chemicals and equipment serving central to northern Louisiana, eastern Texas and southern Arkansas. The tuck-in deal expands Hawkins' water treatment footprint to fill a geographic gap in northern Louisiana and east Texas and is intended to accelerate growth in the surrounding regions.

Danos Group Holdings has acquired Houma-based Performance Energy Services (PES), adding PES’s business units, administrative office and waterfront operations facility to the Danos family. PES will remain a separate entity and join Danos LLC, with Danos Ventures facilitating the transaction to expand Danos’s project services and waterfront capabilities in the energy sector.

Mission Critical Group (MCG) has acquired Point Eight Power, a Louisiana-based manufacturer of switchgear and power control building solutions with production facilities in Belle Chasse, Louisiana and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The deal expands MCG’s manufacturing and power-control capabilities to better serve mission-critical end markets (data centers, communications, industrial and healthcare) and appoints Carlis Gross as President of Point Eight Power.

Troy, Michigan-based Billhighway, a Lovell Minnick Partners (LMP) portfolio company, is acquiring ChapterSpot, a New Orleans-based CRM and member-management software provider for fraternities, sororities and associations. Comvest Credit Partners provided a senior secured credit facility to refinance Billhighway's existing debt and support the acquisition; transaction presented as an add-on to Billhighway's platform to expand its SaaS capabilities for member-based organizations.
