Babel Street has acquired Vertical Knowledge, a Chagrin Falls, Ohio–based data products and intelligence company, to expand its multilingual data sourcing, enrichment, and analysis capabilities. The deal strengthens Babel Street’s identity intelligence and risk operations offerings; Shea & Company acted as exclusive financial advisor to Vertical Knowledge and investor PSG Equity was a selling party.

Health Data Innovations (HDI), a Beachwood, Ohio-based healthcare data integration platform, received a strategic growth investment from Hughes & Company, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on healthcare software and tech-enabled services. The funding will support HDI's expansion of its claims data management and data integration offerings to value-based care providers, payers, and population health partners; Bowen served as exclusive financial advisor.

Graham Partners Growth, the growth equity strategy of private investment firm Graham Partners, has completed a minority growth equity investment in Surgere Holdings, LLC. Surgere, headquartered in Green, Ohio, provides IoT-enabled supply chain visibility and patented SaaS technology (Interius) for OEMs and their suppliers; the capital will be used to accelerate commercial growth and expand the company's sales, marketing and product capabilities.

Infostretch has acquired Gathi Analytics, a Dublin, Ohio-based data analytics solutions and services firm, to strengthen its data engineering and analytics capabilities across financial services, insurance and healthcare. Gathi will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and its founder, Vamsi Kora, will join Infostretch's leadership to head the Data Analytics business unit.

Toronto-based data platform WatrHub Inc. has acquired SplashLink, an online market intelligence platform for the water industry founded by Ebie Holst in 2011. The acquisition adds SplashLink’s RFP and project datasets to WatrHub’s early‑intelligence water data warehouse to broaden WatrHub’s water‑industry intelligence offering and accelerate delivery of predictive RFP insight to water industry clients.
