Engineering Services Acquisitions in Arkansas

Olsson, an engineering and design firm headquartered in Nebraska, has agreed to acquire FTN Associates Ltd., a Little Rock–based water and environmental engineering consultant. The deal is expected to close on April 22; approximately 55 FTN employees across Little Rock, Fayetteville, Baton Rouge and Creve Coeur will join Olsson as FTN’s Little Rock office becomes a new Olsson location.

UES, a national engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida, has acquired Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, a Little Rock, Arkansas-based geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing firm. The transaction expands UES's geotechnical capabilities and regional presence in the southern Midwest, with the acquired firm's leadership remaining to operate day-to-day.
