Engineering Services Acquisitions in Idaho

Salas O’Brien has merged with FA Engineering, adding FA Engineering’s industrial engineering, structural and mechanical design, and environmental compliance capabilities to Salas O’Brien’s platform. FA Engineering is based in Pocatello, Idaho and the combined organization expands Salas O’Brien’s capacity to serve industrial end markets including mining, food processing, and waste treatment.

WSP Global Inc. has agreed to acquire Power Engineers, Incorporated (POWER) for US$1,780 million, a deal that strengthens WSP's Power & Energy capabilities and accelerates its participation in the energy transition. POWER, an employee-owned U.S. engineering and environmental consulting firm based in Hailey, Idaho, has ~4,000 employees and 50 offices across North America; the acquisition is expected to deliver cost synergies and cross-selling opportunities.

Ardurra Group, a Miami-based ENR Top 500 engineering firm and portfolio company of RTC Partners, has acquired and merged with T-O Engineers, a 200-person full-service engineering firm headquartered in Boise, Idaho. The acquisition expands Ardurra's capabilities in aviation, transportation, public works and water/wastewater and extends its geographic footprint in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain region.
