Engineering Services Acquisitions in Nebraska

Agellus Capital has acquired Omaha-based Crux Consulting, a fire and life safety design, engineering, and consulting firm, and will integrate it into its Bluejack Fire & Life Safety platform. The add-on expands Bluejack's engineering and code/regulatory capabilities for federal, commercial, energy and industrial clients and broadens the platform's technical services and geographic reach.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: BWMN) has acquired Speece Lewis Engineers, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based transportation, bridge design, surveying, and hydraulics engineering firm. The acquisition — financed with cash, seller notes, and equity — adds roughly $4.0 million in annualized net service billings and expands Bowman's transportation and Midwest footprint.
