Net at Work acquired Durham, North Carolina-based managed services provider OnPar Technologies to expand its national managed services footprint and deepen industry-focused offerings. OnPar—serving clients across 35 states with more than two decades of experience—will be integrated into Net at Work's platform, providing clients access to broader resources while preserving service continuity.

Virtual Technologies Group (VTG), a Maumee, Ohio–based IT, security and cloud services provider backed by Jacmel Partners, has acquired Whitlock Infrastructure Solutions, a Durham, North Carolina software reseller and IT operations management services firm. The deal, supported with financing arranged by Brightwood Capital Advisors, strengthens VTG's IT operations management, managed services and federal services capabilities as an add-on to its platform.

UBEO Business Services has acquired Advanced Business Equipment, a locally owned office technology dealer serving Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC. The deal expands UBEO’s footprint in the Carolinas and brings ABE’s team and dealer relationships (Canon, Konica Minolta, etc.) into UBEO’s national business-technology platform while maintaining local support for customers.

IT Solutions, a North American managed service provider, has acquired Technology Associates, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based managed IT services firm. The deal expands IT Solutions' East Coast footprint and enhances its managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud capabilities to better support SMB clients across the Carolinas.

Cabin Consulting, a Charlotte-based digital experience consultancy, has acquired Cloud Connects, a boutique Salesforce consultancy, to expand its Salesforce implementation and integration capabilities. The deal brings Cloud Connects' founders and Salesforce expertise into Cabin to offer end-to-end digital transformation services for enterprise clients.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS has acquired Epsilon, Inc., a managed IT and cybersecurity firm headquartered in Weaverville, North Carolina. The acquisition adds over 400 employees and expands AMERICAN SYSTEMS' managed-service, cybersecurity and cloud capabilities to better serve federal and commercial clients.

Bregal Sagemount’s Basecamp fund made a strategic growth investment in Opex Technologies LLC, a Raleigh-based advisor that helps enterprise and mid-market clients optimize technology procurement across cloud, data center, cybersecurity, networking, AI, and CX. Terms were not disclosed; the partnership is intended to support Opex’s next phase of growth and service expansion.

Evergreen, together with Lyra Technology Group, has acquired Sterling Technology Solutions, a Charlotte-based managed services provider, as founder Tom Blanchard retires. Evergreen named Solei Dyment as Sterling's new CEO and plans to preserve the company's operations while expanding its East Coast reach and investing in capabilities such as AI and cybersecurity.

Tailwind Capital has made a strategic growth investment in Cloud for Good to support the company's next phase of expansion within the Salesforce ecosystem. The investment will fund capability expansion — including AI and Data (Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce) — talent hiring, and broader go-to-market expansion in education, nonprofit and adjacent markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Recognize, a private equity firm focused on digital services, has made a majority investment in IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider Sprout. New Capital Partners will remain a minority investor; Recognize plans to invest in Sprout’s technology, expand solutions, and pursue M&A to accelerate growth as demand for secure data destruction and hardware refresh cycles rises.

Cyber Advisors, a Goldner Hawn portfolio company, has acquired Infranet Technologies Group to expand its presence in the Eastern United States and strengthen its managed IT and cybersecurity service offerings. Infranet, founded in 1998 with four locations across North Carolina and Virginia, brings enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and managed services capabilities to the Cyber Advisors platform as an add-on acquisition.

Presidio has acquired Charlotte-based Internetwork Engineering (IE) to strengthen its scale and presence across the Southeast U.S. The deal expands Presidio's networking, data center and cybersecurity capabilities and provides cross-selling and managed-services opportunities for IE within Presidio's larger portfolio; financial terms were not disclosed.

Summit Park has completed a majority recapitalization of Hylaine, a Charlotte-based technology consulting firm, in partnership with Hylaine management. The investment will support Hylaine’s growth plans, add capabilities and scale the business across its Data Engineering, Application Development and Program Management service lines.

Thrive, a global technology outsourcing provider, has acquired The Longleaf Network, a North Carolina–based IT services provider, to expand Thrive’s footprint into the Carolinas. The acquisition gives Longleaf customers access to Thrive’s global SOC, cloud capabilities, and 24x7x365 managed services, while strengthening Thrive’s local presence in North Carolina.

Sparq, an Atlanta-based provider of outsourced digital engineering, has acquired Kingsmen Software, a Charlotte-based engineering firm specializing in generative AI strategy and software development for the financial sector. The acquisition brings Kingsmen's FinTech, banking, payments and capital markets expertise into Sparq's platform, expanding Sparq's AI and financial-services engineering capabilities and enabling greater scale for Kingsmen's clients.

Dataprise, a Rockville, Maryland-based managed IT and cybersecurity provider and portfolio company of Trinity Hunt Partners, has acquired Hooks Systems, an IT services firm based in Wilmington, North Carolina, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition expands Dataprise's East Coast presence and brings additional cybersecurity and managed services capabilities to Hooks Systems' clients.

Insight Enterprises has acquired Infocenter, a pure-play ServiceNow Elite Partner and the 2024 ServiceNow Americas Consulting and Implementation Partner of the Year, to expand its ServiceNow consulting, implementation and managed services capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal adds Infocenter's packaged services, pre-built apps and managed offerings to Insight's automation and multicloud solutions to accelerate intelligent enterprise automation for clients.

Ark Technology Consultants has acquired 5S Technologies, a Cary, North Carolina-based professional and managed IT services firm specializing in Nutanix, security solutions, and data center services. The founder, Mike Shook, will continue with Ark as a vice president to support expansion in North and South Carolina and to broaden Ark's Nutanix and security capabilities.

RMS Omega Technologies has acquired ScanOnline, a Charlotte-area systems integrator and managed services provider, to expand its technical and managed-service capabilities in automated identification and data-capture solutions. ScanOnline will operate as a distinct division under its current leadership, and the acquisition is intended to broaden RMS Omega's service offerings for customers in warehousing, manufacturing and supply chain markets.

Custom Computer Specialists (CCS) has acquired Raleigh-based managed services provider Clarity Technology Group and hosted VoIP provider Local Stratus, expanding CCS's footprint in the Mid-Atlantic. The deals add cloud and communications capabilities and broaden CCS's presence and service offering across healthcare, biotech, defense and AEC end markets.

CES Power LLC, backed by private equity firm Allied Industrial Partners, acquired Roundrock Technology, an IT services provider for the entertainment industry. Roundrock will integrate into CES Technologies (CES Power's technology division) to expand connectivity, network infrastructure and event IT capabilities while the company's co-founders remain with the business.

Docufree, an Atlanta-based enterprise information management provider, has acquired the document and records management assets of Advanced Imaging Systems (AIS), a Pineville, North Carolina information-management company founded in 1972. The deal expands Docufree’s service offerings and customer footprint across education, law enforcement, healthcare, finance and manufacturing markets while integrating AIS customers into Docufree’s ScanCloud and nationwide fulfillment capabilities.

Houlihan Lokey, Inc. agreed to acquire 7 Mile Advisors, an independent investment banking advisory firm focused on the IT services sector. The deal adds roughly 30 financial professionals and a Charlotte office, bolstering Houlihan Lokey's IT services coverage and sector capabilities.

SoftServe, a global IT consulting and digital services provider, has acquired Hoverstate, a full‑service digital engineering firm known for mobile, web and intelligent process automation solutions. The deal brings Hoverstate's Pega partnership and healthcare-focused digital engineering capabilities into SoftServe's global delivery network; 7 Mile Advisors served as exclusive sell‑side advisor to Hoverstate.

Applications Software Technology (AST) has acquired 9Edge, a global IT and Oracle services provider, to broaden AST's Oracle Cloud application and platform capabilities and expand its global market reach. The deal brings 9Edge's consulting expertise and customer base into AST's full-service digital transformation offering, with 9Edge managing partners joining AST as vice presidents; 7 Mile Advisors acted as sell‑side advisor.

20 South Partners has acquired iGLASS Networks, a Cary, North Carolina-based provider of outsourced Network Operations Center (NOC) services. iGLASS will join ISPN Network Services within the 20 South Partners portfolio to expand managed network operations and monitoring capabilities for broadband, healthcare, IT, and financial services customers.

DecisionPoint Systems, Inc. (NYSE American: DPSI) has acquired Greensboro-based Macro Integration Services; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive, adding an estimated $10+ million in revenue and $1+ million in Adjusted EBITDA in the remainder of 2023, while expanding DecisionPoint's services mix, digital signage/video capabilities, and Southeastern U.S. footprint.

New Charter Technologies, a platform backed by Oval Partners, announced a partnership to bring Biz Technology Solutions (BTS), a Mooresville, North Carolina managed IT provider, into the New Charter banner. The move is an add-on to New Charter's buy-and-build strategy and is intended to expand managed services capability and geographic coverage across the Southeast while allowing BTS to retain its leadership and brand.

Concentric Investment Partners closed a growth investment in One Source Communications, a Greenville, North Carolina managed services provider. Proceeds from Concentric's investment were used by One Source to acquire SUMO Technologies and to support other growth initiatives.

Medicus IT, a national healthcare-focused managed services provider headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, has acquired MDcentric Technologies, a Charlotte-based healthcare-focused managed service provider. The deal expands Medicus' East Coast footprint, adds a North Carolina office and strengthens its managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity capabilities for healthcare and other regulated end markets.

IT Assist, a Salt Creek Capital portfolio company, has acquired the TeamLogic IT franchise serving Raleigh, North Carolina. The add-on expands IT Assist's geographic footprint in the managed IT services market and brings the franchise team led by Marty and Jaron Cayton into the combined company.

Presidio, a global digital services and solutions provider, acquired ROVE, a veteran-owned systems integrator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The acquisition expands Presidio’s geographic presence in the Southeast (North Carolina and South Carolina) and adds ROVE’s enterprise audio-visual practice and technology modernization capabilities to Presidio’s offerings.

Magna5, a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired Stablenet, a North Carolina–based managed IT services provider serving manufacturing, legal and financial clients. The deal is an add-on to Magna5’s platform to expand its Charlotte presence and add Stablenet’s cybersecurity and private cloud capabilities to Magna5’s managed services portfolio.

Pearl Street Equity LLC, a New York-based single-family office, has acquired Webonise US, LLC, a global technology product development and services firm. The acquisition will support Webonise's continued expansion of its SaaS and product development offerings (including Olympus Fintech) and accelerate growth and capability development across its RPA, cybersecurity, data science and digital services.

BlueAlly Technology Solutions, a Source Capital portfolio company, has acquired a majority interest in NetCraftsmen, an IT consulting and security solutions provider based in Cary, North Carolina. The deal is intended to expand BlueAlly's services and security capabilities and broaden NetCraftsmen's geographic reach while NetCraftsmen continues to operate as a stand-alone brand.

Concord USA, LLC, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, has acquired SwiftWIN Solutions, a Charlotte-based digital consulting and technology services provider. The acquisition expands Concord’s ecommerce, digital marketing, data analytics, and cloud capabilities while broadening its global delivery footprint across the U.S., Eastern Europe and India; SwiftWIN’s leadership will continue to run the business within Concord.

Baton Rouge-based General Informatics has acquired Charlotte-based managed services provider Versiant, expanding its geographic footprint into the Carolinas and broadening its capabilities in data analytics and security. The deal is an add-on to General Informatics (a portfolio company of Rosewood Private Investments); Versiant CEO Edward Reade will join General Informatics as a senior vice president and regional manager while other principals are retiring.

Datavalet Technologies Inc. acquired the managed Wi‑Fi / managed services division of Charlotte-based SecurEdge Networks, expanding Datavalet's managed network services and U.S. presence. SecurEdge will retain focus on developing its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform while Datavalet will take over delivery, management and support of the acquired customers and services.

Achieve Partners announced a strategic growth investment in Cloud for Good to support the launch of a scaled Salesforce apprenticeship program called Talent for Good. Cloud for Good, a certified B Corporation and Premium Salesforce.Org Partner serving higher education and nonprofit clients, will use the capital to expand its workforce pipeline and better serve clients such as MIT, Harvard and major nonprofit organizations.

HCTec, a Brentwood, Tennessee-based healthcare IT services firm, has acquired Talon Healthy IT Services, a managed IT help-desk provider headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with an additional service center in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The acquisition adds Talon’s ~90 employees to HCTec’s ~500-person organization and expands HCTec’s managed services and patient-facing support capabilities for healthcare providers across the U.S.

Converge Technology Solutions Corp. (TSX:CTS) has completed the acquisition of ExactlyIT, Inc., a North Carolina–headquartered managed IT services provider with operational offices in Mexico. The deal expands Converge's cloud, managed services and cybersecurity capabilities and accelerates its global roll-out of managed and cloud services.

London-based Endava has acquired U.S.-based technology strategy, consulting, and engineering firm Levvel LLC. The deal expands Endava's presence in the United States and deepens its capabilities and client exposure in payments, financial services, TMT, and logistics/mobility sectors.

ARG has acquired NextWave Technology Advisors and welcomed its founder Adam Carreno to ARG as a Principal. The acquisition brings NextWave’s telecommunications and IT advisory capabilities into ARG’s technology services portfolio to help scale the firm's advisor services and expand ARG’s reach with enterprise CIOs and channel partners nationwide.

Park Place Technologies has acquired Curvature, Inc., combining the two largest third-party data center maintenance providers to create the largest global TPM provider. The deal (Park Place is a portfolio company of Charlesbank Capital Partners and GTCR) increases field-service capacity and parts inventory, expands Park Place into four international markets, and strengthens its managed services offering.

Cognizant has agreed to acquire Bright Wolf, a privately held Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems-integration and technology services provider, to expand its smart products and Industry 4.0 expertise. The Bright Wolf team will form the core of a new IoT innovation lab in the Raleigh–Durham, North Carolina research triangle; financial terms were not disclosed.

Infosys has agreed to acquire Blue Acorn iCi, an award-winning digital customer experience, commerce and analytics firm, from private equity investor Beringer Capital for up to $125 million. The acquisition deepens Infosys' end-to-end customer experience and commerce capabilities across Adobe, Magento, Salesforce Commerce and Shopify ecosystems and expands its digital commerce and analytics offerings in North America.

Source Capital, a private investment firm, has acquired BlueAlly Technology Solutions, a Cary, North Carolina–based cloud infrastructure and managed services provider. The partnership is intended to accelerate BlueAlly's growth in infrastructure automation and managed security services.

Core BTS, a Tailwind Capital portfolio company, has acquired Blue Chip Consulting Group, a Microsoft-focused cloud consulting and managed services firm. The acquisition expands Core BTS' Azure capabilities and scales its Modern Workplace and Security practice, with Blue Chip CEO Jim Peelman leading the combined Microsoft practice.

Single Digits has acquired Inviacom, a Charlotte-based provider of fully managed Wi‑Fi, VoIP, IoT and related connectivity services for senior living communities. The acquisition strengthens Single Digits' PlatformONE offering and adds technical resources and Southeast field capabilities to expand its senior-living managed connectivity services.

MML-backed CSI Group has acquired Tectrade, a US-based data protection and managed cloud services specialist. The deal expands CSI's data protection and cloud capabilities and provides CSI with a foothold in the United States; Tectrade CEO Alex Fagioli joins CSI to lead US expansion. Funding was provided by CSI's existing lender, funds managed by Permira Debt Managers.
