Giorgi Mushroom Co., a mushroom-focused subsidiary of The Giorgi Companies, acquired majority equity ownership in L.F. Lambert Spawn Co. on July 1. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Giorgi's supply-chain security and combine the resources and expertise of both companies to better serve commercial mushroom growers.

Kubota North America Corporation, a subsidiary of Kubota Corporation, has acquired Bloomfield Robotics, a Pittsburgh-based agritech company that uses advanced imaging and AI to monitor plant-level health for specialty crops. The acquisition adds Bloomfield's camera hardware and SaaS analytics capabilities to Kubota's smart agriculture strategy, accelerating its offering for specialty crop growers (grapes, blueberries, tree nuts) and enabling tighter integration with farm equipment.

Paine Schwartz Partners has completed a go-private acquisition of AgroFresh Solutions, Inc., acquiring the company’s outstanding public shares and delisting it from NASDAQ. The transaction gives AgroFresh a private ownership structure intended to strengthen its financial foundation and support expansion initiatives, innovation investment, and its mission to reduce food waste across the fresh produce supply chain.

J.M. Huber Corporation has acquired Miller Chemical & Fertilizer, LLC, a Hanover, Pennsylvania–based manufacturer and distributor of non-hazardous crop protection adjuvants and nutritional agrichemical products. The seller was Dunes Point Capital (through Industrial Group Holdings); the acquisition expands Huber’s agricultural chemistry capabilities and product portfolio for farming customers across global markets.
