KPS Capital Partners, through a newly formed affiliate, signed a definitive agreement to acquire AM General LLC from an affiliate of MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated. AM General is a leading designer and manufacturer of military and specialty ground vehicles (including the HUMVEE), headquartered in South Bend, Indiana; KPS said it plans to invest in the business and grow the platform organically and via acquisitions.

Graham Partners, a U.S. private investment firm focused on technology-driven advanced manufacturing, has acquired Damping Technologies, Inc. (DTI), an advanced materials company specializing in vibration and noise control for aerospace, defense, and space markets. Graham intends to leverage DTI's proprietary polymer formulations, engineering capabilities, and market position to fuel growth as composite materials adoption increases demand for damping solutions.
