Aerospace & Defense Acquisitions in Mississippi

NTC Group completed a refinancing and buyout of junior capital that consolidates its ownership of Tenax Aerospace to approximately 80%, ending Bain Capital Credit’s investment. The transaction included new junior capital led by AEA Private Debt and senior debt facilities arranged by Regions Capital Markets to support Tenax’s next phase of growth.

Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD), a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has agreed to acquire Rolls-Royce’s Naval Propulsors & Handling business, including manufacturing campuses in Pascagoula, Mississippi and Walpole, Massachusetts, with the Peterborough, Ontario handling facility to transfer later. The acquisition expands FMD’s naval propulsion, foundry and handling capabilities to better serve U.S. and allied navies and preserves critical manufacturing capacity for the U.S. Navy supply chain.

Precision Aviation Group (PAG), a GenNx360 Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Trace Aviation Group of Jackson, Mississippi. The add-on expands PAG's landing gear MRO capabilities—particularly for Beechcraft King Air/1900 landing gear exchanges and overhauls—and gives Trace access to PAG's $50M rotable inventory to broaden product and service offerings.
