Data & Analytics Acquisitions in Pennsylvania

Genpact has acquired XponentL Data, a Pennsylvania-based data products and AI solutions provider, to deepen its data, AI, and cloud capabilities. The deal (closed June 5, 2025) brings XponentL's domain-led data engineering, Databricks and cloud platform expertise, and industry-specific solutions (including life sciences and healthcare) into Genpact's global services portfolio.

ACKWEST Group, a first-party data and insights company based in West Palm Beach, Florida, has acquired J. Reckner Associates, a healthcare and sensory market research firm with a team of more than 150 professionals. The acquisition combines Reckner’s healthcare panels and sensory research capabilities with ACKWEST’s technology-driven data solutions to expand first‑party data and insights offerings for healthcare and consumer markets.

Thoma Bravo has signed an agreement to sell a significant minority stake in Qlik to a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), with Thoma Bravo remaining the majority shareholder and making a new equity investment. A consortium of other investors is expected to participate alongside ADIA and Thoma Bravo; the deal is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q1 2025.

Scipher Medicine has acquired Philadelphia-based data, analytics, and software company CrossBridge to bolster its data management and analytics capabilities. The acquisition (closed; terms not disclosed) adds CrossBridge's SaaS value-based care platform to enable real-time mapping of patient molecular, clinical and claims data and to support Scipher's precision immunology offerings such as the PrismRA test.

Dodge Construction Network, backed by affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group and Symphony Technology Group, has acquired Principia Consulting, a building materials-focused data, research and consulting firm. The deal expands Dodge's Advisory Services capabilities by adding Principia's market intelligence and research products to accelerate capability development and client offerings.

Primus Capital led a $40 million Series B investment in PurpleLab, Inc., joining existing investor Edison Partners to fund the health‑tech company's growth. The capital will accelerate development of PurpleLab's HealthNexus real‑world data platform, expand data assets, and support hiring and commercial expansion across life‑sciences, payers and providers.

Enhesa, the CGE Partners-backed provider of global regulatory and sustainability intelligence, has acquired RegScan, a Williamsport, Pennsylvania–based EHS compliance content platform. The deal is an add-on for Enhesa that strengthens its operations compliance offering and deepens its presence in the U.S. market.

Wipfli, LLP acquired Waypoint, Inc., a West Chester, Pennsylvania-based provider of business intelligence, data management, and analytics solutions. The acquisition expands Wipfli's data analytics and digital transformation capabilities and deepens its footprint in the Philadelphia market.

Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) and Hg have combined Yardley, Pennsylvania-based MMIT and London-based Evaluate into a single, PE-controlled pharmaceutical commercial intelligence business. The merger brings together MMIT’s market-access data and Evaluate’s forecasting and commercial analytics to create a $1.6 billion global provider offering end-to-end insights across the drug life cycle; WCAS and Hg will share joint control of the combined company.

AllCloud, a global cloud professional services firm, has acquired Integress, a data analytics company, to expand its cloud data and analytics capabilities in North America. Integress founder and CEO Dave Taddei will join AllCloud as SVP, Data and Analytics Practice, North America; terms were not disclosed.

Verisk has acquired Philadelphia-based behavioral data intelligence company Jornaya from growth equity investor Edison Partners. The acquisition expands Verisk’s data and analytics capabilities—particularly in marketing and consumer intent signals—across insurance, financial services and related end markets.

EVERSANA has acquired HVH Precision Analytics and its predictive AI/ML analytics platform from prior owners Havas Health & You and Perspecta. The acquisition brings a military-grade predictive analytics capability into EVERSANA's integrated commercial services for life sciences, while an exclusive strategic partnership will maintain client continuity with Havas Health & You; financial terms were not disclosed.

ABBYY has completed the acquisition of TimelinePI, a Philadelphia-based process intelligence and process mining platform. The deal adds TimelinePI's process analytics capabilities to ABBYY's Digital IQ portfolio to strengthen the company's process intelligence and digital transformation offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Collabera (formerly Global Consultants, Inc.) has acquired Blue Hammock, a Pennsylvania-based data warehousing and business intelligence services firm. The deal folded Blue Hammock employees into Collabera’s organization and positioned Blue Hammock CEO Eric Carlson as a senior vice president leading Collabera’s Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence practice to expand the acquirer’s analytics capabilities.
