    Chevy Chase-based private investment firm Enlightenment Capital has acquired McLean-based government IT contractor Trowbridge & Trowbridge LLC as the initial investment in a new Enlightenment platform focused on government IT modernization. The deal — terms undisclosed — gives Enlightenment a foothold in cloud computing, cybersecurity and IT modernization for federal customers; Trowbridge's COO Cass Panciocco was promoted to president and CEO while founder Karen Trowbridge remains on the board as an adviser.
