Biotechnology Acquisitions in South Carolina

LifeNet Health has acquired Tissue Testing Technologies LLC (T3), a North Charleston–based biotechnology firm specializing in biopreservation and cryopreservation solutions. The acquisition adds T3’s proprietary preservation technologies and contract research capabilities to LifeNet Health’s regenerative medicine and transplantation platforms to expand clinical reach and accelerate research pipelines.

Branded Legacy, Inc. (OTC.PK: BLEG) has acquired Sycamore BioPharma, Inc., a developer of plant-based pharmaceuticals, securing more than $2.0 million in assets, including approximately $500,000 of ready-to-sell inventory and key personnel to support clinical development. The deal expands Branded Legacy's manufacturing and extraction capabilities and strengthens its product portfolio and clinical trial resources.

Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI) has acquired Purilogics, LLC, an early-stage biotechnology developer of membrane chromatography products, for an initial purchase price of approximately $20 million plus milestone-based earnouts. The acquisition brings Purilogics' membrane purification technology into Donaldson's Industrial Filtration Solutions business to accelerate commercialization and expand Donaldson's life sciences capabilities.
