Environmental Services Acquisitions in Florida

Evive Brands, a portfolio platform backed by The Riverside Company, has acquired Pacific Lawn Sprinklers, a franchised provider of irrigation and outdoor services. The add-on expands Evive's national home-services franchise portfolio and positions Pacific Lawn Sprinklers to scale using Evive/Riverside resources and franchise infrastructure.

Vanguard Renewables, a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners, has acquired Complete Beverage Destruction (CBD), a beverage waste recycling facility in Dade City, Florida. The facility processes about 200 tons per day, offers certified destruction and chain-of-custody services, and the acquisition accelerates Vanguard's expansion into the Florida market.

Birmingham-based Landscape Workshop, backed by Ares Management Corporation, has acquired Luigi's Landscaping Co., Inc., adding a Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) facility and team to expand its South Florida commercial landscape maintenance footprint. Luigi founder Ralph Marano has joined Landscape Workshop in an ambassador role and all Luigi employees became part of Landscape Workshop.

Clean Cans CFL, LLC, a Central Florida provider of residential bin cleaning and power washing services, has acquired Orlando-area Bin Gators, with the transaction closing October 3, 2025. The Bin Gators brand and operations will be integrated into Clean Cans to expand the buyer's coverage across the greater Orlando area and support growth throughout Florida.

Bland Landscaping, a portfolio company of Comvest Private Equity, has acquired C.S.S. Landscaping, a Jacksonville-based provider of commercial landscaping services focused on HOA, multifamily, and office clients. The deal expands Bland's Southeast footprint (including 14 branch locations) into Northeast Florida; CSS founder Scott Soltau will join Bland as Regional Director for North Florida.

Landscape Workshop, a commercial outdoor management platform backed by Ares Management Corporation, has acquired Daley Lawn Care, Inc., expanding the company's footprint into the Naples / southwest Florida market. Daley Founder and CEO Jeff Daley joins Landscape Workshop in an ambassador role and all Daley employees have joined the Landscape Workshop team.

Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators has acquired Brock 360 Pest Solutions, a Sarasota-area residential pest and lawn care services provider founded by Greg Brock. The acquisition expands Arrow's footprint in the growing Sarasota and Bradenton markets and brings Brock 360 employees and customers into the Arrow platform.

Sylmar Group has acquired R2J Chemical Services, Inc., a Florida-based provider of industrial water treatment solutions, marking Sylmar's first expansion into the Florida market. R2J will join Sylmar’s nationwide water treatment platform, strengthening technical capabilities in cooling and boiler water treatment, Legionella testing and remediation, potable water solutions, and corrosion control for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients.

Fairway Lawns has acquired Island Environmental, a West Palm Beach, Florida-based residential pest control provider. The deal expands Fairway Lawns' footprint in South Florida and adds established residential pest control capabilities to its service offering; Kemp Anderson Consulting advised the seller, owner Rich Walker.

Waynes Pest Control, an Anticimex company, has acquired Donnie's Total Pride Pest Control, a family-owned pest control business based in Port St. Joe, Florida. The deal expands Waynes' footprint in the Florida Panhandle and increases its customer base to more than 150,000 across Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle.

Ardurra Group Inc., a Littlejohn-backed engineering and consulting firm, has acquired Janus Research, Inc., a Tampa-based cultural resource management (CRM) firm founded in 1979. The 21-person Janus team will continue operating from Tampa while integrating with Ardurra’s CRM capabilities, strengthening Ardurra’s position as a top-three CRM provider in Florida.

Landscape Workshop, a Birmingham-based commercial grounds management platform backed by Carousel Capital and McKinney Capital, has acquired the commercial landscaping/maintenance operations of All American Lawn & Tree Specialist in the Tampa, Florida market. The deal expands Landscape Workshop's presence in Tampa (its fourth acquisition in the area) while All American will continue to operate its residential business under the AALTS name.

Safe and Green Development Corporation (NASDAQ: SGD) has completed the acquisition of Resource Group US Holdings LLC, a vertically integrated organics recycling and engineered soils business that operates a permitted composting facility, two green-waste aggregation sites and a transportation fleet. As consideration, SGD issued common stock, a new series of convertible preferred stock and unsecured promissory notes to the Resource Group equityholders; the Resource Group management team will remain in place to support integration and scaling of revenue-generating operations.

Turf Masters Brands, Inc. has acquired Brothers Pest Control, a lawn care, tree care and pest control provider based in Land O' Lakes, Florida. The acquisition expands Turf Masters Brands' footprint into the west coast Florida / Tampa market and adds to its platform of recurring residential exterior services across 40 locations and 12 states.

Gladstone Investment Corporation provided senior secured debt and equity to support a transaction in partnership with Everglades Equity to invest in Sun State Nursery & Landscaping, a commercial landscaping installation and maintenance provider based in Jacksonville, Florida. The financing is intended to support Sun State’s next phase of growth and add the business to the investors' portfolios.

EIS Holdings, LLC has acquired Tierra Consulting Group, LLC, a Pompano Beach, Florida–based environmental consulting and groundwater treatment specialist. The deal expands EIS's presence in the Southeast and adds high-volume groundwater treatment, dewatering, subsurface remediation, surveying and mapping capabilities to its nationwide environmental and infrastructure services platform.

Mariani Premier Group announced the acquisition of Hazeltine Nurseries, a Venice, Florida-based residential landscape and nursery business founded in 1983. The deal expands Mariani Premier Group’s presence in Florida and adds Hazeltine’s design/build, hardscape, irrigation, maintenance capabilities and a 90‑acre nursery to its nationwide family of landscaping companies.

Tree Guardians, a tree and plant health care platform founded by Halle Capital, has acquired A Budget Tree Service, a Central Florida tree care company based in the Orlando/Winter Springs area. The deal expands Tree Guardians' footprint into Florida and brings a long-established local tree care operator into its PE-backed platform.

Landscape Workshop, a PE-backed commercial grounds management platform, has acquired Baycut, Inc., expanding its footprint into the Tampa, Florida market. The deal further builds the platform (backed by Carousel Capital and McKinney Capital) through add-on acquisitions to deepen regional coverage and service capacity.

TIGRIS Aquatic Services, a Plexus Capital portfolio company, has merged with Aquagenix, a Florida-based lake, pond and stormwater management firm previously owned by DeAngelo Contracting Services. The deal (TIGRIS' largest to date) expands TIGRIS' footprint across Florida, adds fountain and aeration manufacturing/installation capabilities, and broadens its service offering for municipal, HOA and commercial customers.

Tampa-based family office Clearwell Group has completed a recapitalization of Steadfast Alliance, a Florida commercial landscape maintenance, installation and environmental services provider. The transaction was led by Clearwell with support from Centerfield Capital and First Merchants Bank; Steadfast's management, led by John Faulkner, will remain in place and retain a significant stake as the company scales.

Ruppert Landscape, a family- and employee-owned commercial landscaping platform backed by private equity firm Knox Lane, has acquired Lawnscapes, Inc., a Panama City, Florida-based commercial landscaping company founded by Joe Littleton. The acquisition expands Ruppert’s footprint into the Florida Panhandle and is intended to accelerate local growth while keeping Lawnscapes’ leadership involved.

Bland Landscaping, a Comvest Private Equity-backed regional landscaping platform, has acquired Jacksonville-based Koehn Outdoor. The add-on expands Bland's commercial landscaping footprint into Northeast Florida and South Georgia, with Koehn's founder David Koehn remaining in a leadership role.

Mariani Premier Group has acquired Treasure Coast Irrigation and Rood Landscape, which will operate jointly as TCI ROOD. The acquisition (the group's 24th) strengthens Mariani's presence in Florida and adds landscape and irrigation capabilities to its platform.

Neuberger Berman Capital Solutions (NBCS) has acquired a significant minority stake in Yellowstone Landscape, Inc., with funds managed by Harvest Partners retaining majority ownership. Harvest Partners SCF, Harvest's non-control investment strategy, also invested alongside NBCS; terms were not disclosed. The capital infusion is intended to support Yellowstone's continued growth and execution across its commercial landscaping services.

Landscape Workshop, a Birmingham-based commercial grounds management platform backed by Carousel Capital and McKinney Capital, has acquired Servello & Son, Inc., a family-owned landscaping business in Orlando, Florida. The acquisition expands Landscape Workshop's footprint into the Orlando market and brings the Servello founders into the company as part of the integration.

TIGRIS Aquatic Services, a portfolio company of Plexus Capital, has acquired American Ecosystems, Inc., a Florida-based provider of aquatic vegetation management with locations in Largo and Odessa. The acquisition expands TIGRIS's footprint in the Tampa Bay area and adds local field operations and expertise in nuisance aquatic vegetation control to its stormwater and surface-water services platform.

SGS North America has acquired Beta Analytic, a Miami-based laboratory specializing in Carbon-14 age dating and biobased/biogenic product validation. The acquisition expands SGS's radiochemistry and environmental testing capabilities to better support sustainability validation across multiple industries in North America.

H2O Innovation Inc. has acquired NextEra Distributed Water in a carve-out transaction, integrating the business into a new Water Infrastructure & Development business line to operate NextEra’s WaterHub assets. The acquisition brings in-house large-scale asset development and ownership capabilities — enabling H2O Innovation to offer turn-key onsite wastewater treatment and reuse projects delivered at no upfront capital cost and operated under long-term contracts; the deal is supported by follow-on investment from funds managed by Ember Infrastructure Management LP and existing minority owners.

Juniper Landscaping, a Bregal Partners-backed commercial landscaping platform headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, has acquired Landscape Maintenance Professionals, Inc. (LMP), a regional landscaping maintenance provider with operations across Tampa and Sarasota. The add-on expands Juniper’s footprint to 34 branch locations across five states; LMP’s CEO Orlando Castillo will remain a co-owner and continue to lead the local branch.

BluMetric Environmental Inc., a publicly traded Canadian environmental consulting and engineering firm, acquired Gemini Water, LLC, a Gainesville, Florida-based designer and builder of large-scale desalination and wastewater treatment systems. The acquisition, which closed September 23, 2024, expands BluMetric's cleantech product line and geographic footprint into the U.S. and Caribbean markets and aims to accelerate Gemini Water's order backlog execution.

Contract Land Staff (CLS), a portfolio company of Sentinel Capital Partners, has acquired Southeastern Archaeological Research, Inc. (SEARCH), a leading cultural resource management and archaeology firm. The acquisition is an add-on to CLS to expand its archaeological and cultural resource management capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

AllClear Underground Solutions, a PE-backed regional underground water and wastewater infrastructure platform, has acquired Engineered Spray Solutions (ESS), a Lakeland, Florida provider of spray-applied structural restoration coatings and protective linings. The deal expands AllClear’s service capabilities and geographic footprint across the Southeastern United States, strengthening its municipal wastewater and stormwater rehabilitation offerings.

Flotilla Partners, an Osceola Capital portfolio company, has acquired Water Treatment Technologies of Florida (WTT), a provider of residential and commercial water treatment services founded in 2004 and headquartered near Orlando, FL. The deal — Flotilla's eighth since the platform launched in January 2023 — expands Flotilla's presence and density across key Florida markets including Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville.

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT), an Ember-backed environmental services platform headquartered in Wharton, New Jersey, has acquired Carbonworks USA, LLC, an Atlantic Beach, Florida provider of water treatment equipment, filtration media and related services. The acquisition gives GWTT an immediate presence in Florida to support southeastern U.S. expansion, strengthens its Mid‑Atlantic footprint via Carbonworks' Virginia operations, and expands GWTT's ability to deliver larger and more complex water treatment and remediation projects.

Clean Water Environmental Services (CWES), a Rockwood Equity Partners portfolio platform, has acquired WBE Environmental, Inc. dba Florida Silt Fencing, a Florida-based erosion control and silt fence installer. Patriot Capital provided debt financing to support the add-on acquisition, and management (Joelle DeVane and Bill DeVane) will remain in leadership to ensure continuity of operations.

Houston-based FCC Environmental Services has acquired Gel Recycling Holdings, a major recyclables processor in Central Florida, adding three recycling facilities and a C&D debris landfill to its Florida operations. The deal brings four locations and approximately 120 employees into FCC's U.S. recycling platform, strengthening its market presence and operational synergies in central Florida.

Los Angeles-based Monarch Landscape Companies has acquired DynaServ Florida, LLC, a 30-year, family-owned full-service commercial landscape company based in Davie, Florida. The add-on expands Monarch's national footprint into Florida and the Southeast, bolsters subcontractor management capabilities, and brings DynaServ's team of over 200 employees and network of 100+ contractors into the Monarch platform; terms were not disclosed.

Certus Pest Control received a growth investment from Liberty Mutual Investments alongside a follow-on investment from existing sponsor Imperial Capital to accelerate acquisition activity and support entry into new U.S. markets. The capital will fund M&A-driven expansion across Certus's 21 branches in eight states and scale the platform's operations and systems.

Sterling Investment Partners has acquired a majority stake in Verdantas, LLC from Round Table Capital Partners, with Verdantas management, employees, and RTC retaining significant equity. Based in Tampa, Florida, Verdantas is an integrated environmental science, engineering, and consulting firm that has grown rapidly through 18 acquisitions since 2020 and employs over 1,450 staff nationwide.

Juniper Landscaping, backed by private equity partner Bregal Partners, has acquired Rip's Professional Lawn Care (Panama City, FL) and Elegant Landscape & Design (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), expanding Juniper's footprint to 28 branch locations across Florida and Texas. The deals deepen Juniper's presence in the Florida panhandle and Palm Beach markets and coincide with a major multi-year installation, design and maintenance contract at Tyndall Air Force Base; the acquired businesses' leaders will remain running their local branches.

Flotilla Partners, a Tampa-based water treatment services platform and portfolio company of Osceola Capital, completed the acquisitions of Guardian Water Services, Crystal Pump Repair Services, Peter's Water Treatment & Irrigation, and WaterTech239. The add-ons expand Flotilla's footprint and density across Florida—particularly central, southern and southwest regions—as part of a buy-and-build strategy to become a leading water treatment services platform in the Southeast.

Dubin Clark’s portfolio company Super Home Services, LLC (SHS) acquired two Florida-based home services businesses in February 2024: Mosquito Mist (Sarasota, FL) and Custom Green Lawns, Inc. (Longwood, FL). The add-on deals expand the SHS platform’s pest control, misting system and lawn-care capabilities across Central Florida as part of a roll-up strategy to build a regional home-services leader.

Columbia, South Carolina-based Capital Waste Services LLC has acquired Herrington Industries LLC, a roll-off dumpster and landfill services provider based in Palatka, Florida. The purchase gives Capital Waste an entry into the Northern Florida market and access to one of the region’s largest fully permitted C&D landfills, supporting the buyer’s Southeast growth strategy.

Rockit Pest, a Halle Capital‑backed pest control platform, has acquired Ace Pest Control, a long‑standing local operator in Brandon, Florida. The deal is an add‑on intended to expand Rockit Pest's footprint in the greater Tampa Bay area while preserving service continuity for Ace's customers and employees.

Wind River Environmental, a Gryphon Investors–backed environmental services platform, has acquired Cloud 9 Services, LLC, a Florida-based provider of hydro excavation, commercial plumbing, pipelining and underground utility services. The business was a portfolio company of Canopy Capital Management; the acquisition supplements Wind River's central and northern Florida operations and keeps Cloud 9's president Curtis Walker in a senior leadership role.

EverSmith Brands, a franchised-services platform owned by The Riverside Company, acquired U.S. Lawns from BrightView Holdings as an add-on to the EverSmith portfolio. The acquisition adds a national commercial landscaping and snow-management franchise network headquartered in Orlando, Florida, to EverSmith's commercial facilities brands to accelerate growth and leverage synergies with existing platform assets like Clintar.

Verdantas, a private-equity-backed environmental consulting and engineering firm, has acquired Flatwoods Consulting Group, a Tampa-based natural resource and environmental consulting firm. The deal adds nearly 40 specialists to Verdantas' team and expands its capabilities and regional footprint in the Southeastern United States, particularly across utility and water resource markets.

Liberty Tire Recycling has acquired two Central Florida scrap-tire businesses — Empire Tire of Edgewater (Orlando) and McGee Tire (Apopka) — expanding its collection, grading, and hauling footprint in the growing Central Florida market. The acquisitions will allow Liberty to increase collections and processing capacity in the region while continuing Empire Tire & Wheel retail stores under their existing ownership; McGee Tire's founders (Jesse McGee and his brother) were noted in the announcement.

Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators has acquired The Pestop, a Port St. Lucie, Florida-based pest, lawn and termite control company founded in 1995. The Pestop will operate as Stark Exterminators and its team members will be retained as Arrow expands its footprint in Martin and St. Lucie counties.
