Acquisitions in Wyoming in 2021

Eco Depot, Inc. has acquired all outstanding common shares of Development One Nanotechnologies and Energy Inc., a Wyoming-based developer of nano-carbon coatings, 3D-printed advanced manufacturing parts and cement additives for the oil & gas and construction industries. The acquisition expands Eco Depot’s industrial product portfolio and brings proprietary coatings and cement-additive technologies aimed at improving durability and reducing costs for oilfield tools and construction materials.

Alta Convenience (CF Altitude LLC), a joint venture between Fortress Investment Group and Phillips 66, acquired five Get ’N Go convenience stores from Rock Springs, Wyoming-based Red Horse Oil. The seller, Jay Schneiders, monetized his investment; Alta will integrate the stores into its Denver-based portfolio of convenience stores, which totals roughly 106 locations across four states.

SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies) announced that its subsidiary, Summit Fire & Security LLC, has completed the acquisition of Casper Fire Extinguisher Service, Inc., a family-owned fire-extinguisher and life-safety service provider based in Casper, Wyoming. The transaction expands Summit Fire & Security's presence in Wyoming and adds local fire-extinguisher inspection, maintenance and emergency lighting services to its platform.

Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), has completed the purchase of Phoenix Fire Protection, Inc., a Cheyenne, Wyoming-based fire protection services provider. The acquisition brings Summit into the Wyoming market and retains Phoenix Fire Protection’s existing employees to expand Summit’s local service capabilities in backflow prevention, fire sprinkler and clean agent systems.

Hub International Limited acquired the assets of Wyoming Financial Insurance (WYFI), the largest independently owned insurance agency in Wyoming. The deal—terms undisclosed—brings WYFI's team into Hub Mountain to expand Hub's geographic footprint and strengthen its commercial, personal and employee benefits capabilities in Wyoming; several WYFI principals will not be joining Hub.

Gastro Care Partners (GCP), a PE-backed gastroenterology platform, has completed an affiliation with Gastroenterology Associates of Wyoming (GA), the largest gastroenterology provider in Wyoming based in Casper. The deal expands GCP's regional footprint across the Mountain and Western U.S., gives GA access to GCP's operational capabilities, and makes several GA physicians significant shareholders in GCP; the platform is backed by Varsity Healthcare Partners.
