Telecommunications Acquisitions in New Hampshire

ITG Communications, a national provider of fulfillment, construction, and project management services to the cable, telecommunications, and utility industries, has acquired Advantage Utilities LLC, a New Hampshire–based fiber construction and maintenance company. The acquisition brings Advantage's ~85 W-2 employees and large subcontractor network into ITG, expanding ITG's Northeast footprint and customer partnerships across New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

Pfingsten-backed New England Electrical Contracting has partnered with Modern Link Communications ("Molicom"), a Plaistow, New Hampshire-based provider of maintenance, repair and upgrade services for critical telecommunications infrastructure. Molicom President and owner Keith Barnard will retain ownership and join New England Electrical's executive team as the combined company pursues Pfingsten's strategy to build a national independent telecommunications service provider.

GI Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, has acquired Single Digits Inc., a Bedford, New Hampshire provider of managed wireless network solutions and broadband authentication software. As part of the transaction Bregal Sagemount will exit its investment; GI Partners said it intends to grow Single Digits organically and through acquisitions to expand services and scale the business.

GENBAND has completed the acquisition of Derry, New Hampshire-based Cedar Point Communications, adding Cedar Point's IP switching solutions and roughly 7.5 million lines in service to GENBAND's cable VoIP portfolio. The deal strengthens GENBAND's leadership in the cable market by expanding its product capabilities and customer relationships with major cable operators.
