E-Commerce Acquisitions in Colorado

Out&Back Outdoor has acquired The Locals Sale, a curated marketplace for used ski and snowboard gear, bringing the smaller resale business and its events, inventory and warehouse into Out&Back’s platform. The deal expands Out&Back’s hard-goods offerings, consolidates fulfillment between Denver and Salt Lake City, and transitions The Locals Sale employees (including founder Jake Cohn) into Out&Back’s team to grow winter-sports inventory and events.

Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH), a Cortec Group-backed e-commerce platform for performance automotive aftermarket businesses, has acquired RCI Off Road, a Loveland, Colorado-based manufacturer and online retailer of off-road accessories for pickup trucks and SUVs. The acquisition is an add-on to EAH’s portfolio to expand into the truck/off-road aftermarket and to leverage EAH’s digital marketing, technology, and distribution capabilities to scale RCI’s growth.

Summit Park has led a majority recapitalization of Artifact Uprising, a Denver-based direct-to-consumer maker of premium personalized photo books, prints and gifts. Digital Fuel Capital, which partnered with management to acquire the company in 2017, will remain a significant investor as Summit Park supports product development, customer experience investment and brand growth.

WeCommerce Holdings Ltd. (TSXV: WE) has completed the acquisition of KnoCommerce (Kno Technologies Inc.), an ecommerce survey and insights platform that helps merchants capture zero-party customer data. KnoCommerce will operate as an independent brand within WeCommerce's portfolio and remain led by CEO Jeremiah Prummer as WeCommerce expands its ecommerce data and insights capabilities.
