HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Mississippi

Broadwing Capital Management LLC, in partnership with Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, has made a strategic growth investment in Upchurch Companies, a family-owned regional mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) service provider. The investment will fund operational improvements and support organic and acquisitive expansion while the Upchurch family remains involved in day-to-day operations.

Tech24, a national foodservice and commercial HVAC repair platform backed by HCI Equity Partners, acquired Total Mechanical Repair Services (TMR) on May 24, 2023 as its sixteenth add-on. The acquisition expands Tech24’s service footprint in Southern Mississippi and provides access to adjacent Louisiana markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

Tech24, a national provider of foodservice and commercial HVAC repair services backed by HCI Equity Partners, acquired TEMCO, Inc. on July 20, 2022. The add-on expands Tech24's footprint into the Southeastern U.S. (Jackson, Mississippi and the Gulf Coast), adding local talent and deeper exposure to foodservice and commercial HVAC customers.
