Software Acquisitions in Arkansas

Library Market has merged into LibraryIQ, joining the recently combined LibraryIQ and OrangeBoy business to create an integrated library intelligence and engagement platform. The deal brings Library Market’s digital tools (LibraryWebsite, LibraryCalendar, LibraryBrand) together with LibraryIQ and OrangeBoy’s performance intelligence and patron engagement capabilities to expand product functionality for public and academic libraries.

Rejigg facilitated the sale of SmartDraft, a civil engineering software company based in Van Buren, Arkansas, to an unnamed individual investor who acquired roughly half the company with an option to buy a majority over the next three years. The deal closed June 1; the buyer and founder Rex Cooper plan to collaborate on product modernization, workflow improvements, and expanding market awareness.

MRI Software acquired Lindsey Software to expand its public and affordable housing property management and compliance offerings. The acquisition integrates Lindsey’s cloud-based tenant, maintenance, screening and accounting solutions—used by more than 700 public housing authorities—into MRI’s residential solutions suite to broaden capabilities for housing agencies.
