Environmental Services Acquisitions in New Mexico

Community Tree Service, a Hastings Equity Partners-backed vegetation management platform, has acquired Southwest Contracting & Associates, a Capitan, New Mexico-based tree thinning and trimming provider. The acquisition expands CTS's operations into the Southwestern U.S. and diversifies its customer base with additional state and federal agency relationships.

GZA GeoEnvironmental has acquired Glorieta Geoscience Inc., a Santa Fe–based environmental and groundwater consulting firm, to add specialized water-resource, hydrogeology, and environmental science capabilities. The acquisition expands GZA's geographic reach across the Western United States; Glorieta principals Jay Lazarus and Paul Drakos will continue to lead the Santa Fe team under GZA.
