Panasonic Corporation completed the acquisition of Blue Yonder, purchasing the remaining 80% of shares to own the company outright. The transaction, announced Sept. 17, 2021, values Blue Yonder at approximately USD 8.5 billion and combines Panasonic's sensing and edge-device capabilities with Blue Yonder's AI/ML-powered supply chain SaaS platform to accelerate an "Autonomous Supply Chain."
