Data & Analytics Acquisitions in Arizona

Alpine Investors has launched a new data software platform, predictis, and announced a private partnership with Ethisphere to bring Ethisphere into the predictis portfolio; terms were not disclosed. The move positions Ethisphere — a provider of ESG/GRC data, benchmarking and ethics-focused software and services — as an add-on to predictis as Alpine invests to grow the platform's data and governance capabilities.

EXL Corporation acquired Clairvoyant, a data, AI and cloud engineering services firm, to strengthen EXL's analytics and cloud capabilities. Clairvoyant — headquartered in Phoenix with more than 550 employees — will join EXL’s Analytics segment to support clients in insurance, healthcare, financial services and retail; the transaction closed in Q4 2021.

Collectors Universe, the parent company of PSA and other collectibles businesses, has acquired Card Ladder, a sports trading-card valuation and market-data platform. The acquisition adds Card Ladder’s sales data, pricing analytics and predictive pricing technology to Collectors Universe’s suite of services to improve pricing transparency and collector experience.

Zonda (formerly Hanley Wood | Meyers Research), a MidOcean Partners–backed housing data and research firm, has acquired Belfiore Real Estate Consulting, a Phoenix-area residential market research and advisory firm founded by Jim Belfiore. The acquisition expands Zonda's presence in Arizona and strengthens its local housing market data and advisory capabilities for homebuilders and related customers.

Funds advised by Providence Strategic Growth (PSG), the growth equity affiliate of Providence Equity Partners, have made a growth equity investment in Semarchy to support product innovation and accelerate go-to-market expansion. Terms were not disclosed; the capital will fund Semarchy’s Intelligent Data Hub product development and customer growth initiatives.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a business unit of RELX, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Emailage, a Phoenix-area provider of email-based fraud prevention and digital identity risk scoring. The acquisition will integrate Emailage's email intelligence and contributory data into LexisNexis Risk Solutions' Digital Identity Network to expand its fraud detection and digital identity capabilities.
